The amount of spin from the Right to frame this as 'socialist is retarded. It's a pro-business giveaway to the insurance industry. The final legislation is a shell of what Obama originally proposed, mainly because of the blue/yellow dogs in congress.

So what way do you wannna have it?

Gop is the party of no
Gop are obstructionists

But nope they came "together" and wrote Obama care.

They are obstructionist.

When the opposed the Public Option...Obama replaced it with one of their ideas...and they still opposed it.

I'm sorry if you can't see the game they are playing.

And all the State exchanges are using private insurance...not a government plan.

And look at you...you are made that your State is taking people OFF of government insurance.

Actually yes it can be taken away. The notion that this is a free country where we "own" property is simply a joke.

What happens if I cant afford to pay property taxes on either of my properties? The government comes and takes them away.

All Obama has to do is nationalise the insurance companies. . . .

I hear what you are saying, but I for one do not care who's idea the individual mandate was. The federal gov't (any past, current, or future parties) should not be mandating that every person purchase something.

With that said, the health care costs and health insurance are completely out of control and something needs to be done to fix them. And no, I do not have the solution. This law does help in may ways, it's just the individual mandate that I feel is wrong.

Well there is another problem, do we really feel that ONLY the mandate is wrong...even the experts say this bill is so big and messy and full of stuff they don't know what all it means. if we understood everything that they put in there and all the hidden earmarks would we still feel only the mandate is bad?

The funny thing is that they claim that it is both socialist and a hand out to corporations.

They confuse me.

You mean evicts you, since your obviously "renting" land you don't actually own (property tax).

This also explains why you cannot declare your property as "Your own nation", because it's technically the government who owns all of the land (Except reservations which are technically real nations according to international treaty laws).

Obamacare is very similar to the bill Romney signed in Massachusetts. I don't know why you guys think Romney is any better than Obama.

Yup, small businesses under 10 employees get the waiver. So now small businesses will have to create multi-companies so their 10 employees will fall under it. What a fiasco.

I currently employ a total of 8 people.

Finding a workaround is exactly what I plan to do since I had planned on expanding next year. It's either that, or I dont expand, dont hire more people, and dont provide more jobs and income for people in the small farm town I live in.

Here is a question for OBama supporters who for the last 3 years said Obama just took Romneycare nation wide so now that Obamacare is has been ruled "constitutional" does that mean Romney get's the credit?

Silly me what was i thiiking of course Obama and the left will get the credit .

Actually yes.
This health care mandate is a good idea...not great (the great idea was actually the single payer system).
This is also not constitutional..even I thought this would be struck down...forced to buy a service..might as well start giving peneltys to people whom don't eat vitamins or drink milk...again, good idea, bad presidence...

And
it has always, -always- been a GOP idea. it was always checked by dems wanting a universal healthcare/single payer system...
So...congratulations on getting this passed republicans..only took 20 years and a dem potus/congress moving endlessly to the right.

The limit is 50 people....not 10.

So you are free to expand.

That's what most people will do. I know that we will when we open our doors in the next two months. My wife and I are opening a small business, but with this new law we are just going to hire part-time employees only working max of 20 hours a week so we can bypass this.

Don't worry, the government will eventually close that. They don't like it when people denythem their money.

So many people will get rich off of this.

That's the real reason for this crap.

I keep seeing people say "Communism!" or "Socialism!", when it's neither.

It's Fascism. It's government requiring you to purchase a commercial corporate product simply because you are alive. Corporatism = Fascism

A lot of people will say, "You can't have fascism in a representative democracy!"

To which I reply: "Umm, yes you can, if those representatives are beholden to the corporations and not the voters. You just saw it happen."

Umm,, actually we are going to hire under 18 only as part time workers so we will bypass it all together. Problem solved, they won't go after kids.

I plan to....

I plan divest my holdings in energy and buy into a fund mainly comprised of Health Care providers.

Either play the game or quit whining!

Capitalism is game played by those that have the intelligence to do the research and gamble their assets.

No they are not exempt because the tax is not a tax, it is a penalty for you NOT buy the insurance.
