What Is Hate?

Proverbs 6:16-19

"There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers."

Just thought I'd point out,no where does it say God hates anybody!

"Hate evil. Cling to what is good."

~But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."~Galations 5:22-23

Good things to think about,no matter what book it comes from.

Love and hate are opposite ends of the same spectrum.... but people confuse love with lust...

Love is purely selfless... Hate is pure selfishness...

I never thought of hate as selfishness, that's interesting.

I guess the closet thing to pure love I ever experienced, was the love for my children.

THAT is pure love...

Imagine that feeling when you deal with every person in your life... And you can do no wrong...

Love is the path my friend... Know it, understand it...

both love and hate mean else coming first in perspective of what exist

the sense of love is about the will to b attached to positive objective more then to urself reality with all or through

the sense of hate is about the will to b detached from negative objective that is getting over urself as the reason of which u cant b really existing

Hate wont end until all the humans from the 20s and 60s are all dead,so we are looking at about....say umm..............2060,and than all the hate, that they taught to there kids will end in...ummmmm,2129,the world will be a much better place in the year 2220,thats when alot of hate will be not on this earth any more.thats when the world will have reached the first golden age of life.

hate exist while love dont that is why all reality ended to b through powers and force

when truth is freedom, then rejecting smthg is relative to free reality while willing to get attached to else deny free reality existing

I was lambasted from all sides, by people that hated me and caused me harm, and I had to learn to love my enemy,

I failed.

However, not completely, I can be very forgiving, but it is hard to forget, if I can't forget I have failed.

LP, hate has been around since the beginning, hate is a survival instinct, so is love, so is faith or spirituality, that morphed into religion.

that is why who mean to love must die, i guess the idea of seeking god love is pushing to that end, encouraging u to mean dying forever in peace

existing as existence is a serious matter of objective truth rights, it is a very complex thing u cant learn it, it must b done constantly for nothing, just b responsable of ur own wills that u clearly point, existence mean nothing to u so die

Could you explain a little more "in detail"?

You prayed for "supernatural love"... (definition? ) and got the opposite? ... er...

I don't understand why you were praying for something that is already given?

Not to be loved, but to be able to love unconditionally like Christ taught to love your enemies, do good to those that hate you.

Then it seemed like everyone started hating me, lol, and be careful what you pray for.

Well, we do have love, we have a choice, love still exist, but love is selfish too, depending on what is motivating it.

All the old ways will pass away.

God has a habbit of testing his children

It seems you've learned that lesson enough to spit it out at the appropreiate time...

OH that's a hard one to put into words, of course it is a sort of a twisted kind of love, I will have to think about how to respond.

It would not be Christ like love of course, but we might call it love not knowing any better.
