Maybe they are planning to spend it aboard there large yachts:

The Russian guy with the largest yacht in the world hosts a huge New Years Eve party - including guests like George Lucas.

A little over budget? How about $2 BILLION over budget.... I do understand over spending is common, but $2 billion?! That means they just about doubled their original cost in over spending... That is pretty odd to me, worth looking into how an extra $2 bil was used...

It's very common in Colorado. DIA was a joke. It was nothing but a good ole boys project. The bond daddies made a killing off the tax payers, and Pena got kick backs and positions in the federal government with Clinton. It was nothing but another project to steal money from the citizens of Colorado.

And that's what it boils down to.

Some folks have to believe that every single action taken by the mean, old government is part of a giant, NWO/reptillian conspiracy to reduce the population to whatever it says on those rocks in Georgia.

This site should have a hotline for those that get too immersed in this stuff that they lose all ability to function and rationalize in the real world. Like in Vegas where they post Gamblers Anonymous telephone numbers everywhere.

On second thought, it wouldn't be pragmatic given the sheer numbers of users who would have to call hourly.

You know - this is probably one of the best synopses of this site that I've ever read. Suffice it to say that if it wasn't for this mindset, the entertainment-value of half of the posts here would be zilch.
So...THANKS guys!

thanks for expanding on that with details...that is my point...
yes the overspending is an issue...and another topic in itself....
but it has nothing to do with all the crazy myths and RUMOURS that surround DIA....

Kinda surprised to see the amount of effort by the moderators to downplay this...

My wife's daughter lives in CO Springs, and her husband works for a government
company. Scuttlebutt is that there is a tunnel that connects Cheyenne Mtn to DIA.

PS. How do I flag this thread?

Agreed, however since this was paid for with public funds, is there any way to get the details as to where the funds went? Almost a "receipt"? You'd think there would be, and should be made available to the public.

I am extremely surprised that no one in this thread mentioned the CIA plans to move their HQ out there or the fact that a ridiculous amount of fiber optics was installed there. I will check back later to see if anyone actual did their homework or if you will continue arguing over what you THINK is actually going on, yes you too moderator.

People are reading way too into these THEORIES!!! I do contract work in many airports and have been in the bowels of many of the busiest american airports. You would be surprised at how deep and how big these places really are!!! There is nothing sinister and definitely nothing to hide. To answer most of your questions about the tour guides answer. He was probably only allowed to show some of the secured areas. I would love to go into detail how and why he was only allowed to show certain areas of the airport but due to contracts and security reasons I can only tell you that the camera crew probably had escort badges and that in some airports escorted personnel only have limited access. As far as the baggage system that runs mile long lol I have seen many projects like that... they end up dead and never activated. Its called a company won a bid to provide a technology or service to the airport and guess what they sold a bill of goods that didnt work. I have been outbid on many occasions and watched it happen. The worlds busiest airport * name withheld * installed an inferior wireless network design because it was cheaper and they were sold on subscription revenue for internet usage rather than advertising revenue.... guess what! the system for the last several years has been rated one of the top 10 WORST in the world!!! They wanted to add RFID tracking for wheel chairs and many other assets but cant without implementing a whole new separate wireless network or redesigning the current system to handle location tracking...

So yeah there is a lot many of you will never see or know about airports. Huge underground tunnels, Large underground "complex" like areas and etc... are very common. Sh*t I have opened doors to rooms that turn out to be triangle shaped and pretty much useless. Does it mean something weird is going on? NO! No it does not.

In regards to the artwork you would be surprised at what gets put into airports. HJIA has artwork that keeps racism alive... not payed for or asked for by white people but rather a Black agenda to show everyone who flies into Atlanta that this is the home of slavery and racism!!! it is extremely sad to come into the internation E Gate terminal and see Ignorance labeled as art! Pictures of black people with misspelled sayings and quotes of people from slavery.

As you near the baggage terminal you will (if you walk the whole mile of tunnel) walk through the history of Atlanta with the emphasis on slavery! Then as you reach closer to the T Gates right before baggage. You will run across an African exhibit with tribal music that is played 24/7/365 on mother F'ng repeat! it never changes. I am nor ever was a racist and I despise the act regardless of race or color. The problem is the agenda to propagate racism to foreign and domestic travelers and to incite the ideas that Racism is key in Atlanta and that the "White Man" is keeping the "Black Man down"... It is sad! So questionable "ARTWORK" is fairly common in airports some are more outrageous than others. DIA is just another example of someone trying to get a message across and btw I dont believe matt's answer.

The Murals show almost nothing to do with the environment but however do show illustrations of a young generation over coming a war generation. I will look more into the illustrations in the murals as it has been a year or two since I have been in DIA...

Many Airports run Ridiculous amounts of Single mode and Multi mode fiber into their installations.... The CIA and fiber optics have nothing to do with each other....

I don't know if anyone has commented on this (to lazy to read all the posts) but there was a fully equipped emergency room, and clinic facility below the main Lindberg terminal of the Minneapolis/St Paul airport. From what I vaguely recall, I believe all the medications and likely any equipment was removed years ago. As for its original intent I can only assume it was for some disaster response. It would be way to expensive to maintain such a facility on the very rare possibility of a major plane crash. I've never been down there, and I wonder if it had anything to do with the Naval air station which is located away from the main terminal, still active.

The airport also has a MAC (military airlift command) base there and I've seen Air National Guard C-130 cargo planes flying in and out of the airport since I lived in Minneapolis on and off from 1973. Thats still very active. The flight path was right over the house I lived in for 20 years and the C-130's are unmistakable. But I was quite surprised as a teenager when I heard about the hospital under the terminal. I admit it does make sense in a number of situations, but the odd thing is it had to be expensive, and would have loved to have been in on the terminal building construction meetings to know the exact reason. Anyway, curious trivia...

Oh, I'm sure that's been long destroyed. The cartel running Colorado and Denver would be sure of that.

I've been following this thread since it's birth and I don't know what to think!

There seems to be some confusion on proving and disproving...providing evidence that can be supported is proof...providing information that shows something to be false it disproving!

So with that being said...I have seen no proof of DIA being anything other than an airport!

I have not seen anyone provide any evidence disproving DIA is anything but an airport!

So...which is it...an airport surrounded by a bunch of theories of it being something else...or is it a secret base that just happens to be an airport too.

Safely I can say that it is an airport with a bunch of theories surrounding it...I don't feel so safe saying it is a secret base that happens to be an airport too!

Just my two cents!

Sure, and the government NEVER builds secret underground facilities in public places or businesses.

To put it into perspective.

I disagree with your assessment of this thread... If claims were made akin to "Denver airport is a hologram" (because it CAN be proven otherwise) or something pretty ridiculous then it's for pure entertainment, however there is nothing wrong with having a discussion about weird circumstances or situations... ie, interesting paintings in an airport, how much it cost, how many stories underground etc... You are entitled to your treating this as an "entertaining conversation", but when does it become a serious topic? Moreover, to YOU, when is it serious? Because what may not be serious to you, can and will be serious to others' viewpoints.

Again, I'm not knocking you for your personal view on the subject, but I wouldn't mock others for what's a serious topic for them.

why have some super duper secret base at DIA for the elite when you have Buckley AFB 15 min (or so) away that has everything all the elite would need? then you have 3 other bases south of DIA.....i guarantee there is more security at BAF than DIA.....I know, I lived on it.....

with all the ultra security locations in colorado, makes no sense to have something at an international airport that is packed with people all over the world.....

It's funny, because my wife and I were heading down to Parker a few months ago, and I decided to take E-470 instead of battling the I-25 traffic. Well, we're cruising along, and she says something to the effect, "Do you think there are really tunnels?". I told her flat out, "NO! I mean, think about it. If you're running tunnels with vehicles in them, you're going to need ventilation shafts coming up to vent the exhaust." At about that point, I look of the right hand side, and there's a damn ventilation shaft. No reason, just a shaft. You can follow them and they appear to somewhat follow E-470. We put our tinfoil hats on and had a good laugh about the "what if" of it. But, I don't think there are any shafts.

However (this is a little off topic), if you get up north by Carr, CO, by the power plant, there are some really cool underground "bunker" type things. We were out there shooting on a friend's land and he pointed them out. HUGE rooms underground with pipes going through them. The one we were able to pop the top on was full of stagnate water. I was going to drop in, then thought about my health and didn't. If I ever get brave, I'll toss a grenade down in there someday and see who shows up to fix it. Or, maybe not.

Very well said. I don't know ANYTHING for sure either way, but to listen and critically think about theories is great! Anyone who knows for sure (with proof) can and should be the only one(s) speaking in absolutes.

My 2¢ too
