Title: How to reactivate your accounts
Posted by: SkepticOverlord
To comply with the recently passed Internet Information Accountability Act that comes into effect from today, all the user accounts have been
disabled. If you are living in one of the participating countries (list is provided below), please go to one of the agencies listed for your country,
with your photo-identity card and unique identification number (like Social Security Number) and file an application to request that you be associated
with your online identity for this website. The association can be made for more than one identity per website as well, so make sure you associate all
your ATS identities that you wish to continue to use with your national id. You will be issued a 40 character alphanumeric code. Once that is done,
your account will be activated.
The login page has also been appropriately modified. It will be a secure page and will require the 40 character alphanumeric code issued to you by
your national agency in addition to username and password. The code itself will
not be saved in the ATS databases and will be used to
coordinate with the nodal agency only to ensure that the username matches the person.
You are responsible for all the content you post and any content that violates the laws of any of the participating countries, can be used against you
in a court of law of that country.
New users can provisionally register a username, but must go through the same procedure specified above to be able to post.
See you soon.
