We had a retarded guy in our neighbourhood. Once he stole my dog (he had killed dogs, rabbits and other animals before, I even watched him kill his pet rabbit) and was strangulationg it with a string.
I beat him until he cried for mercy.

I met a guy on a Greyhound bus, travelling from LA to San Francisco on a late night run in 1992. He got on somewhere in central California (I don't remember where) and sat down next to me (there were plenty of open seats). For most of the rest of the trip he regaled me with stories about his TOP SECRET security clearance and work at a secret military base the Bay Area that was responsible for research into robots, flying saucers and artificial intelligence. He discussed a particular program at length, and it had something to do with an "alien robot" named "Vengie" who was far smarter than he or any of his colleagues, and who he feared would threaten the entire human race within a few short years.

I was pretty young and impressionable, and he seemed absolutely certain of what he was saying, and to be honest, it scared the hell out of me. Looking back, I am convinced that he was a lunatic, but he is definitely the weirdest person I ever met or talked to personally, hands down.

True. I just call an ambulance if I meet somebody in distress.

When I was in my late teens I backpacked around Australia with a girlfriend doing the seasonal harvest. Basically picking fruit, veggies or wildflowers etc. After 12 months I headed home for an Uncles funeral. My Mother lived in a rural area and my sister was several towns away and I decided to hitch hike over to see her. It was the first time I had ever hitch hiked without my girlfriend and in hindsight a very silly thing to do. I was picked up by a guy with curly back hair in a nice blue sedan. We had a bizarre conversation in which he asked what I would do if he propositioned me.

I replied that I would politely say no thanks and thank him for the ride thus far and ask to be let out. (I had my hand on the door handle ready to bail from the moving vehicle if I had to). He then stops the car and lets me out. I really felt like I had dodged a bullet that day as I watched him drive away. To my horror he turned the car around to come back in my direction. As he slowed down, the local pub owner who knew my Mum stopped and picked me up. The blue sedan drove off in a hurry. Years later I see a picture on the News and I recognize the man who picked me up. His name was Ivan Milat.

Go to the Bagdad Cafe on old Route 66, in Newberry Springs.

There's a guy who hangs out there that's been in ufo's, flown the sr-71, been in the fbi, cia & area 51. He's done everything and been everywhere. I like playing Topper with anyone, but this guy had me worn out after an hour.

It's a great cafe in a great location and well worth the trip just to see this guy, not to mention the French babes that come on tour to visit. The movie has a cult following in France.

"Welcome to the world of morons, psychopaths and mental defectives"< from,WBCN-Boston radio...

Walk or drive down the Sunset Strip or through the Bronx on a summer night,is it not like a zoo, where the animals roam freely? And then walk or drive through Tokyo,or Stockholm, for two examples,on a summer night, their totally different and totally different experiences. In Tokyo and Stockholm you dont feel like your about to be jumped or attacked at any moment, like you do in dozens of American cities...as for cities in Mexico?...forget it,i wont even go there...

Did she "become" weird after you were married? I'm thinking thats what happened...

My ex was like sybil,or the three faces of eve.She was one person before we were married and as soon as the back door to our relationship was closed, meaning we got married and there was no more easy way out,she became a totally different person and we disintegrated soon afterwards...

I never knew which her i was going to be talking to from day to day and then from moment to moment as it got worse. Her perpetual mood swings were of a babe ruth caliber, changing the color of her hair two or three times a week, staying out all night, strangers cars picking her up and dropping her off,our intimacy took a permanent vacation...

I guess her multiple personalities couldnt decide amongst themselves which one was dominant...

I've met many with a few minew's missing from their bucket.... but there is one instance that really never left me. It's more creepy to me that weird, but I consider myself very lucky to be here. This happened when I was about 13 (I'm 35 now) back then I was a pretty handsome kid... I don't know what happened now..LOL. I lived with my single Mother who was working hard during the daytime. It was summer and I usually hung out with my buddies outside all day long, but this day I had earned $20 for doing chores around the house... I was going to walk to the mall and blow my $ at the video arcade playing street fighter 1.

As I was really into the game, this older man walks up to me and watches me play. I couldn't help but notice him. He looked to be in his early 40's, hispanic, tall and was wearing a black leather jacket...in the summer! He would occasionally take a small porno mag out of his jacket pocket and glance at it for a second, then stuff it back inside. After a few moments he began speaking to me. He commented on how good I was at this game. Asked me my name, and I don't remember what else, but I know he was asking a few things. Obviously I was very uneasy about this guy, but kept on playing. A moment later, this giant man who looked like a much larger and taller version of Glenn Danzig walked up next to the first guy. When I noticed him, I got scared but didn't show it at all. The first guy introduced the other guy to me as his freind..whoever... As he reached out to shake to shake my hand, something inside just said..."Go Now!". Instead of shaking his hand, I walked away towards the gameroom attendant and told him what had just happened. He called security, they came and spoke with me. The guard walked me to the end of the property and kept an eye on me as I walked home. I walked in public hoping that there would be too many poeple around if they planned on following me. I kept looking over my shoulder and was more alert. I went home that day and told my Mom what happened that day.

Needless to say she was Pissed and Worried. Rightly so, from that point on, I anytime I went somewhere, I was with freinds. I shutter to think of what could've happened and what may have happened to some other unlucky kid that day or the next. Any way, it wasn't the first time something like that happened...thankfully someone was looking out for me....glad I'm here to share that story with you.

The local weirdo, every towns got at least a few of them,a guy who rode around town all day and night on a girls bike picking up cans, this guy had long grey hair,a long grey beard, lived in the woods, wore winter clothing in the summer, clothes that were never changed or cleaned and constantly talked to himself,or someone only he could see.I never liked the idea of him just being casually allowed to roam around near children all day,i was always on high alert whenever i saw him near little kids...
