Headley ! Thanks for pointing this one out. Your right pretty out there in some parts but Ive got agree there is too much happening all at once. Normally I am a bit of a sceptic but all these events happening at once has got me thinking

The fact of the matter here is we are not gonna be told ....and there is a major dceipt here on earth ....if ther eso certain its not gonna hit why are we talking about it and why are we trying to escalate a war with Iran with the full knowledge that Russia is backing iran 100 percent ... between all of this and a potential loss in communications on November 9th ....Who Knows?

I agree 100%. People like OP doing his numbers thing, should be abundantly encouragfed to the max. Not be subjected to smart ass comments, that only waste bandwidth and space, for the sake of clutter. It's
persons like OP that will uncover something huge. I wish I had his the skill to do some meanigful poking around like that. Why wouldn't he check up on the data ? I wonder if Phage puts his mega talent to work in this manner.
He surely must, he seems so on top of everything.

You can all sleep soundly in your beds now . The danger ( not that there ever was any ) has now passed .
If was going to hit us , It would have done so at 19:00 GMT and that was 6 hours ago .

No doubt some people will already be preparing a thread based on the next asteroid heading our way .
In an uncertain world , it's good to know that some things never change

Hello TomServo, great thread with some baffling mathematics S&F. A friend & I have read through the whole thread and would like to ask in which direction do we have to point his portable telescope when we get to an area with little light pollution please? We are in the Morcambe Bay area on the North West coast of England. His telescope is 500x114mm 1-1/2x converter & 2x Barlow, I do not have a jar of glue when it comes to this side of the matter I am more a hands on type of bloke. We would really like to observe this asteroid though as it will be the first time he has had an opportunity to use said scope. Oh & also is 11:28pm the best time to be up in the hills watching please.

Many thanks in anticipation.

theguygeeza & Dave.

Actually it passes us 2300 UTC/GMT on the 08th which is 1700 New York time on the 8th, or 8.30am in Adelaide on the 9th.

Still 21 and a half hours to go.

Knowing just a little about radar and surface reflection.... Why are the NASA radar images illuminated from a tangental source? I can understand some specular processing using an interpretive computer analysis but based on the earlier radar planforms, it is oddly represented..... Unless there is an external remote source of radar energy way out there....

Just sayin'
