All of the corporate media is the issue, not just the one that wears your colors. MSNBC, ABC, CNN, FOX, CBS, screw them all. They are all propaganda factories, I don't say "Fox News sucks!", then turn on CNN and drool while I mindlessly absorb what they air.

Come on neo, we've discussed this same topic before and I told you the same thing.

Sorry for steering off topic though. I just kinda followed the flow of the conversation, and here I am talking about mainstream media and Ron Paul.

What about the OP?

People can just turn on Fox News for that, that is where you get your thoughts anyways.

He wants to vomit on it enough times as to make sure the acid dissolves the existence of both.

endorsed by liberals
supported by liberals
the only people who have problems with fox news

I'm finding it hilarious how the Liberals are crying over how Conservatives will view the OWS protests given the way they treat the Tea Party protests.

Like the Tea Party they had a chance to make a stand, to speak on the issues, to make a change. Like the Tea Party they opted not to have a leader (stupidity) and will be consumed by the DNC as the TP was consumed by the GOP. OWS deserves the ridicule and slander coming its way because it should have learned from it's predecessors.

They want to be like Egypt.

Ask the families of the 29 dead today at the hands of the Egyptian military council how that leaderless "Revolution" is working.

these posts those shows are nothing but thoughts and words given form much like a book kill what you dont want to hear and have one course of dialogue.

you people are free to say whatever you want i could careless but i still reserve the right to disagree with it.

I have no issue with calling OWS a liberal movement.

And I 100% hope that it becomes a left wing "Tea Party".

Soooooo...what's your point? Is that a bad thing? Can the left wing not have a movement of their own to speak out and let it be known what they want?

Do you hate freedom? Do you only want people to have a movement if it matches your opinion?

the left wing already has their movement sitting in the senate and the oval office

So it's true...you don't want people to have a voice unless it's opinions you agree with.

How freedom loving of you.

The left-wing has nothing to complain about? They gave us Obama, had 2 years to shove draconian fascist policies down our throats, still control 2/3rds of the government and is responsible for essentially everything they are bitching about...

So what's the point? Stupid, aimless, confused and blind college kids screaming about how mad they are, still living in mommy's house without a care in the World.

That's how I'm coming to perceive these people.

Exactly the method in a two party system of control

Exactly why liberals were led to perceive the TP as a crowd of fascist, snowbird, racists...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

In the end nothing can be done because it is just too easy to get you (for example)
to think that stupid, aimless, confused and blind college kids are threatening you
more than the two party system and the overall, corrupt political system.

Do you know what's really .. really .. incredibly effing stupid?

Comments like yours.

There is a difference between Liberals and Conservatives. It is not imaginary, there is no secret hand forcing us against each other.. it's about ideology.

Left/Right/Left/Right/left/Right/Left/Right.

I am beginning to think I am in Basic Training.
This is so sad.

If I were a conspiracy minded person I would think that this thread was filled with trolls or disinfo agents. or both. This thread and general topic has become so polarizing that the people on either end of the pole are blinded and can't see their own hand in front of their face.

It takes a big man to admit he is wrong.
It would just make my day to see some of these hard core polarized people back away from their positions and come to center and admit they are wrong.

But I don't see it happening and won't hold my breath.
Are there any big men here?

Yea it's weird how many people have such off kilt opinions, I keep wondering what's up myself.

Are people really like this? Or is this a trick?

Sometimes I get crazy about something as well, but I'm not about to defend a stupid concept to death.

Maybe I'm wrong, how about that?

Does that change the fact that the Tea Party and OWS are being dealt with in the same manner?'

I suppose your perfection and my stupidity trump reality...

Just read this excellent article about OWS and has highlighted some of my concerns about the movement.

I found the occupiers had the same totalitarian attitude, though they don’t see it as totalitarian. Yes, their loving acceptance of those who disagree with them is astonishing, but it’s totalitarian. It asks that people give up their individuality to the state the occupiers are creating. Rather than free speech, the protest has a sort of "managed speech" to make sure everyone has equal time. There is also the flip side, that not to join the movement or to disagree with the protesters means that you are working against the interest of the people.

The author goes on to argue this type of thinking was prominent during the French Revolution.

The protesters have been settling on the idea that the conflict is the 99% against the 1%. But since the country is evenly divided between Democrat and Republican, they represent, at best, the interests of 50% against the 1%. No matter how poor, Republicans don’t see socialism as being in their own interests. Instead of chanting "We are the 99%" they should be chanting "We are the 50%", but they seem immune to seeing things from this perspective.

Worth a read

They claim that there is not suppose to be any politics or elected officials involved. Doesn't sound like it does it? Suppose to be all colors and all ideas all faiths? Apparently not anymore. I started out hoping this would be a real movement of the people, by the people and for the people. That was before the bought and paid for professionals arrived on the scene. Why do you think there was no MSM coverage until they got into place and now it is going viral. The only thing changed were the players. Al Gore called for a US Arab Spring about 2 weeks before the protests began. Ad Busters set it up. SEIU had a meeting at the White House in August along with Acorn. Now the founder of OTPOR (CIA) Ivan Marovic whose organization was key in the Serbian War during the 1990's and known to have been sponsored and handled by William Montgomery who later became US Ambassador to Serbia after the war. Mr. Marovic has rode into town to organize OWS protest. With all of this the main stream steam has been captured and is being turned into support Obama for re-election. Which is to undermine everything the protestors are clamoring for or at least claim to be protesting for. Where does this leave all of the people who want and demand real change and real accountability? Scr%%ed totally Scr%%ed!
