Unfortunately, you didn't read the poem in context. I'd also let the man speak for himself. Perhaps those that write about you will say you're a "labeler," a "labelist," or even "Fox Junkie." In any event... I hope I don't find myself agreeing with those terms based on your tender tidbit of a performance. Your friends might think you're a little light in the pants, but I'll do my best to give you the benefit of the doubt.
If this is your stance and your goal, to destroy this country, you won't be getting any help from us.

Euphemisms are not, as many young ppl think, useless verbiage for that which can and should be said bluntly; they are like secret agents on a delicate mission, they must airily pass by a stinking mess with barely so much as a nod of the head.
A house is just a place to keep your stuff while you go out and get more stuff.
By and large, language is a tool for concealing the truth.
I put a dollar in a change machine. Nothing changed.

Again, not military... The last thing you want is a 6'3" - 265lb. jacked up Combat Controller punching you in the spine. I took another shot to the upper cheek, but I happened to knock the guy onto concrete flooring. I gained a little respect too.
The thing you might not understand... Even when they're not thinking the programming is there to act on instinct.

Where are our NYers? Give us the real skinny! We don't want that MSM crap!

Fortunately, i've read books dedicated to his poetry ... not just one ... seems your education is lacking.
luckily, many ppl let the man speak for himself, (in print even) that's why he never got too far with his "plan".
those of you with barely a 4th grade education (even though you may hold a *degree*) sure do show your colors when cornered, don't you?
sticks and stones sweetie ... sticks and stones ... names/labels are plentiful and less than painful.
fyi - i don't even have cable ... i get my info from multiple sources in multiple places throughout the world ... you should try it sometime.
for the record, i've always been a bit "light in the pants" but i was built this way, what's your excuse?
my, my aren't you just gracious ... now, why don't you try being grateful
oh yeah, that's right, they don't teach that anymore, do they?

There's the pot calling the kettle black. You label Sanburg yourself as a radical socialist then proceed to select quote from his literary adversaries. Now I'm being accused of labeling as the focal point of your retort? That reverse shoveling doesn't achieve much once you've dug yourself a large enough hole. Speaking of holes...
Of course I was correct in my assumption pertaining to light in the pants. A cinch to nail down in this case. And since your mindset is that of a darling in your own right, I'm sure you lost track of behavioral traits indicative of males. When a man stands for something he often finds himself targeted by rivals. I'll let you figure out the rest, but just to add real fast... Social media sites and video games weren't prevalent in the early 1900's.
Be grateful I refrained from the intellectual jousting. You leave yourself wide open. This could mean you're loose or basically with a few screws loose... Judging by the emoticons and playground idioms the choice is break even.edit on 5-10-2011 by Americanist because: (no reason given)
Sandburg's output of poetry and prose was significant in 1915. In addition to his steady coverage of labor and politics for The Day Book (he took on the Rockefellers, Hearst, Marshall Field, Chicago Mayor "Big Bill" Thompson, the city police and the Bell Telephone monopoly from April to December in that year alone), he was contributing regular articles and occasional poetry to the International Socialist Review, published from 1900 to 1918 by the Chicago socialist publisher Charles Kerr.
These sources are interspersed with one another, roughly following the timeline of Sandburg's radical politics in the 1910s, so as to highlight matters both of debate and of consensus in recent scholarship on the subject of Sandburg's radical politics.
