I know 'stupider' sounds stupid but it actually is a correct word i.e stupid, stupider, stupidest. Some now argue the correct term is to use 'more stupid' in place of 'stupider' but either way it is a word.

That is right, we all make mistakes..........so what is the point of this thread?
To show how two of the people that might be our president are stupid. And apparently to push some anti-republican liberal internet trolling mainstream media propaganda....

I bet if everything you ever said and did was recorded we could have one heck of a youtube playlist.
You're probably right, but you would never catch me mistaking North Korea for our allies, or saying that carbon dioxide is completely harmless.

I'm not the one running for president either, some dude on an internet forum using improper grammar doesn't really compare to the next potential president of the country not knowing who our allies are or what the vice president does.

that is exactly right, you are just some dude on an internet forum.

why dont you debate some issues or their stances instead of trying to pick apart some random and OBVIOUSLY stupid quotes.

whether it is libs or repubs, these people are under a tremendous amount of pressure and scrutinty. ever heard of getting nervous and slipping up? or saying the wrong thing? happens to people all the time.

it is this kind of stupid, worthless debate that deflects people from the real issues. the sad thing is there are people out there that would actually vote based off these youtube videos.........and they are the stupid ones.

IDK bro they seem fairly smart to me, you know with all those millions of dollars they have.
If society judged people's intelligence by the amount of money they have, Lil Wayne, Brad Pitt, and Justin Beiber would be the Albert Einstein's of our time.

Meanwhile you and I are in line at Wal Mart.
I prefer CVS. Point taken though, I sit here on an internet forum laughing at their stupidity, meanwhile they'e raking in millions of dollars and I cut out coupons to buy cheap Fritos.

“Having your intelligence questioned by Katie Couric must be like having Michael Moore say to you, ‘Have you put on a few pounds.’”

Anne Coulter from “Demonic”

I am always fascinated how the braindead leftists discuss among themselves how intelligent they are when the only ideas they espouse are consistently from the propanganda issued by the church of Secular Socialism. The dumbness of the Palin,Bush,Bachman is vastly overshadowed by Pelosi, Waters, Obama, Jackson Lee, the list is too long to mention. I am sure that if any member of the congregation ever came out with an independent intelligent thought, he would be immediately excommunicated.

Because this thread isn't "let's debate the political ideology of Bachmann, Palin, and Bush", it's "look at the stupid things they've said".

Would you like me to start a thread where we can discuss their stances on key issues? Because that's not what this thread is about, if you don't see the humor in some of the stupid things they've said, that's fine, but I do, so I made this thread.

Yes, there are real issues, so we can't take ten minutes and get a good laugh out of some of the stupid things that they've said over the years? Is my thread threatening the very future of this country and the political outcome of the 2012 election? I don't think so, it's just some YouTube videos and quotes of those three saying stupid things that I found humorous.

Bush didn't understand foreign politics or didn't have a clue about foreign relations. Hence him leading us to invading Afghanistan and Iraq. Complete disasters with 100,000+ people dead.

Palin is a hockey mom who wants one thing: Attention. That's it.

Bachmann is a truly insane and ruthless woman. She is a horrible person with no respect for anyone besides herself and her in-the-closet husband. Both of them are savages and don't deserve to be anywhere near the White House. If she ever did somehow become President, it would be indeed a dark dark dark time for this already fragile country. So long freedom.

I don't think being a genius should be a prerequisite for being a good leader,

I would prefer honesty, and common sense,

Plus, can you really define intellect, there is the school of hard knocks, one I graduated from,

Let's face it, I would love a down to earth person who is in touch with the plight of the common man.

Flipping lawyers?

Give me a break.

I don't watch any mainstream media outlets. The only television shows that I hear about that stuff from is The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and Real Time With Bill Maher, but I watch those 'cause they're funny.

I come to this website for news. I don't need a reporter reading a teleprompter to tell me what's going on in the world when there are thousands of unbiased people here who aren't pushing an agenda and are more than happy to supply this website with news.

and go outside and get some sun
Have you been outside lately? As appealing as spending all day soaked in sweat and sunburned from the 100*+ weather sounds.....it doesn't.

Effects on society, as a whole perhaps?

I get that, but subjective or at the least an invitation to a debate across a huge spectrum of issues and causes in the context of a 100 plus years.

Welcome to your opinion and there is some validity to your claims, but it is a BIG discussion, so I will leave it there.

FDR, and his wondrous New Deal that has helped, in many ways, to put us exactly where we are today...bankrupt, and all too willing to let the govt. do our thinking for us.

Social Security and Medicare led us to brink of economic collapse? Not the psuedo-illegal and outright illegal practices of our financial institutions? You do realize that those programs have paid for themselves every year they have been in existance? That they are forcasted, even by the most pessimistic of projections, to be solvant for the next 20 years?

The GOP is looking to tear into Social Security and Medicare while championing subsidies for Oil and Gas companies, continued Tax Breaks for the "Job Creators" that laid off millions over the past 5 years after recieving those same tax breaks plus billions in bailouts, protecting the world record defense spending...but SS and Medicare need to be scrapped? Those solvent programs that are 20 years out from having issue.
Just insane.

No. Social Security and Medicare DID NOT lead us to where we are today.

Might as well throw in good ole Joe Biden.

His mom lived in Long Island for ten years or so. God rest her soul. And- although, she's- wait- your mom's still- your mom's still alive. Your dad passed. God bless her soul." --Joe Biden, on the mother of Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen, who is very much alive, Washington, D.C., March 17, 2010

"Stand up, Chuck, let 'em see ya." –-Joe Biden, to Missouri state Sen. Chuck Graham, who is in a wheelchair, Columbia, Missouri, Sept. 12, 2008

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man." –Joe Biden, referring to Barack Obama at the beginning of the 2008 Democratic primary campaign, Jan. 31, 2007

"A man I'm proud to call my friend. A man who will be the next President of the United States — Barack America!" --Joe Biden, at his first campaign rally with Barack Obama after being announced as his running mate, Springfield, Ill., Aug. 23, 2008

If we do everything right, if we do it with absolute certainty, there's still a 30% chance we're going to get it wrong." --Joe Biden, speaking to members of the House Democratic caucus who were gathered in Williamsburg, Va., for their annual retreat, Feb. 6, 2009

Pray nothing happens to Obama to put this clown in charge.

Patriot Act.
Attacking gay rights.
Attacking women's rights.
Letting 9/11 happen.
Messing up Katrina.
100,000+ dead in Iraq.
Basically bankrupt our nation.

I'm sorry, but how can you not hate Bush again?

I'm not hiding it, I hate Bush. He's an idiot that did waaaaay more harm to this country than good, and I just love watching videos of him looking stupid. Like that "fool me once" quote of his, how can you not laugh at that?

There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.

If we can ever move past this left right paradigm, we will see that we all have around 98% in common with one another.

It is every politicians job to exploit that 2 percent, and threads like this help them keep us divided by superficial inane flotsam that matters not.

I always vote liberal because I believe that there is a vein of humanity and compassion amongst them that is not present among the haves of the GOP, but this kind of name calling makes me sad.

Those 'stupid' politicians are among the haves, and, right or wrong, are trusted by good people country wide.

If you wish to convert critical, and compassionate thinkers, you must abandon this left/right illusion.
