Women are great yes. And when given the chance to live they are great survivors and thrive.

That is why men have gotten as far as they have in life. A man is only as good as the lady by his side.

totally agree. I think women will instinctively group up, gathering stragglers on the way so to speak. Though protective and fierce women tend to see the benefits in safety in numbers in stead of being or have serious territorial issues. A lion pride is a good example, the women get along, do the work, work together to accomplish a goal (hunting), the males are to busy mating and guarding the territory and puffing up to look fierce.

But basically...a large enough pride could more than likely survive perfectly fine with out a constant male presence.

Exactly. I would form my own group. Since women just are not as strong physically as men, I would have a "clan" I would allow selective men, but ONLY id they showed they could contribute and could be trusted. Mess up ONCE....that's it. I saw this not because I am trying to sound bad ass, but it is because of safety issues. Like I said, most men can overpower a women....so no trust, no men. Ok....I HAVE to say this.....My compound would be heavily "booby trapped"

I like the idea of a woman having her own "escorts". I am a happily,
married lady.I can shoot,cook,bake,sew,can food and not above
hand washing clothes in galvanized tubs.

Two images come to mind post-apocolyptic. The first is of females thriving because there are a good number of us who can make healthy babies, are good in bed, can work hard...blah blah blah. But the second image I clearly see are of the females that need those $400.00 aligator stilettos with matching purse. The chicks that gag when they see raw meat but clearly want the cheeseburger no pickles. See where I am going with this? I have never been more afraid for the future of my gender than when I think of a SHTF senario. Does anyone else share my concern? I mean, these chics will be more vulnerable than the elderly,children, mentally ill, diseased etc. Like, OMG right? hehe.

Women will form strong and protective communities, the larger the better. Loyalty and trust of each other would make a strong foundation for a lasting and successful tribe. An all women tribe would do incredibly well in a survival scenario, and should not be underestimated.

Killing is something I would never ever want to do (but I would in a second if it was a life or death situation) I would not hesitate to puncture your testicles, pop your eyeballs out or beat you senseless if the need arises during a SHTF scenario.

That's so right, but there are another 50% who are smart, hard working and good. Those are the ones who I might allow in my compound....but like I said.....they must prove themselves. In times like that, trust would be imperative....female OR male. Loyalty is hard to come by today, so I would be very selective in who I allow to stay with me.

I think you're wrong there, in a survival situation things would be very different. We would not be choosing men based on their looks, status, wealth or reputation... Choosing a male would be based on their ethics, skills and what they could contribute to the community. Many all women tribes would choose not to reproduce, but rather to take in women and children on a regular basis to preserve and sustain their lives and the life of the tribe.

I find this post offensive because if "SHTF" I'd be more than capable of defending and supporting myself. But, I do understand that most women would probably freak the # out. That being said.... Most men adore saving a damsel in distress so I think atleast the pretty girls will be fine. If SHTF both men and women alike need a game plan, wether they're a lone ranger or are in need of some type of support group.

I'm curious as to what most of y'all are going to do.
