What an open ended question\statement. This leaves anything open to complete srutiny good and evil.

Simple fact is, the human brain is still very unkown. The test was conducted but the answer was simply in theory. Personaly i believe that people might simply mistake a story they heard in the past from another and their brain mistakes it for their memory.

If my memory is under question then i question the memory of the United States government and any others that continue to twist the stories of world events and mass death.

Great point in the OP sir. I'm quite aware of some of my recollections being altered afterward through suggestion. I'm also aware of recollections from as early as almost 3 years old that are accurate and have accountable confirmations from 3rd parties of. This presentation I almost didn't bother reading until my eye sped faster than my return key, then I got intrigued to read on.

Its my firm belief that an eyed witness is the most flimsy of evidence of a past event than forensic analysis of the same.

Walk into any court in the land with premise of this thread and chemies are going to lose! The only arguments of merit having been put forth so far support the contrail side. Arguments such as "check the statistics in the sky" or "trust your inner voice" though quaint ideas do not further the chemtrail conspiracy. If no proof is provided soon by the chemtrail believers, this whole argument will fall by the wayside becoming as valid as the argument we never went to the moon. This outcome would suck because you chemies may have been onto something that we desperately needed to know to save ourselves and you will have failed us by not coming up with proof!

Of course there is.

and in a small enough environment it is even possible to prove a negative - for example I can prove thatthere is not (something) in my pocket to anyone close enough to see - for any "something" for which the statment is true - eg an egg, and automatic pistol, a Boeing 747, etc..

And there are mathematical and scientific proofs back to Axioms - the literla meaning of the term "axiomatic".

it is only muddled minds that mistake "theory" for "proof", and argument from a negative for logic.

If you believe the sky is differnt then you must have reasons for thinking that.

What are those reasons?

Those reasons exist whether you are conversing with man or machine, or whether I or anyone else believes your reasons or not.

You state something to be a FACT - therefore you must have reasons for believing it to be so.

Yes, there are false memories, I must agree with that.
I remember conversations with my mom( not many), as a child, who never took place, at least by her recollection. I imagined them? I read them and projected them in a different context? Did she completely forgot? I will never know for sure.

But the thing is that false memories are about single, isolated events, which are never repeating. Watching the blue sky is never an isolated event, it's a daily event, endlessly repeating itself.
I would say that, on contrary, we should have difficulties noticing the differences NOW, since our brain tends to project onto reality old images fixed in our mind by repetition. Did you ever happen to NOT notice your wife's new hair color right away?

No, I don't think that the color of the sky is a false memory.
And if I can't trust my memory on such a simple thing, what in the world can I trust anymore? TPTB memories?

Sorry, but this is sheer desperation and grasping at straws. And knowing how the thread will go I'll just leave it at that and walk away.

One doesn't need to trust ones own eyes.....they can trust photographic evidence showing whether or not contrails look differently today than they did all the way back to the 40's.....And guess what...they did. They look exactly the same...nothings changed. The link I provide shows contrails all the way back to the 40's that look exactly like those of today.
