Sorry bout getting off on a tangent about the choice of homosexuality. Back on topic. So basically most here believe that parents can only teach their children what you believe and not what they as parents believe? Why is it ok for two homosexuals to adopt and teach the child that anything is good, but for heterosexuals to adopt and teach that there are things that are wrong?
Nowhere did the article say they taught hate. They taught that homosexuality is wrong.

Why would a parent teach their child something they do not believe?

-If the parents were against the education of women, do you think they would encourage their daughter to go to college?
-If the parents believed that Homosexuality was a sin, do you think they would be to not let that color their relationship with their child?

That is quite a stretch to believe the parent would just drop their bigotry at the drop of a hat.

Also lets not look to close at the hipocracy in the statement that the Homosexual parents say "its all good", while the Hetero say things are wrong. Its totally whacky as there are no sex acts that are performed in the Homosexual community that are also not performed in equal measure in the Hetero community.

Actually Jesus was against homosexuality. He spelled it out very plainly for everyone. He said that a man should leave his mother and father and cleave unto his WIFE, not life partner. By saying this he set the standard for relationships. He also said that sex outside of marriage was wrong. So if marriage was said to be man and woman then homosexuality is wrong.

Remember, you keep bringing up the Bible, so again, save your Bible bashing for another thread.

I sincerely believe the courts were wrong in their ruling on this. If a homosexual couple can adopt then so should this couple.

If the homosexual couple preached an anti hetero stance then they would not be able to adopt either. If you have read my posts I agree they should have been allowed to adopt too.

Simply put, no one has really done any large enough studies to conclusively and without question prove the effects of hormones in foods. Likewise the effects of endocrine disruption are also still inconclusive.

If they put crap in our food and water that made us lean in the direction of pedophilia we will be having this exact same discussion using the exact same args.

If your claim is that food is making people homosexual, via a high-estrogen load, you're gonna have to actually prove that claim.

Years ago I had some skinheads that piece worked for me.
We had debates everyday about the Bible and they all had problems with me from a black girlfriend I had had before. This group was the very first case in the country prosecuted for "hate crimes"
As much as I disagreed with them and they disagreed with me (their crime was beating up a black guy with a white girl kissing in public) I can assure you they loved, cherished and respected their women.
They refered to them as white princesses.

You see, this pro gay side seems to need alot of made up what-if stories to project this hate they have onto us through transference.

Do you think it is wrong to have sex with a 12 year old girl? It has been accepted throughout the ages until recently in the US. The statutory rape laws were designed with the sole purpose of preventing unwanted teenage pregnancies. Now, if you teach your child that having sex at 12 is wrong when it is accepted as legal age for marriage in many countries are you spreading hate?

Like a few others have said 'there's no need to be teaching children about sex at all not until they reach a certain age'...

That's not the subject we're talking about. What we're dealing with is people who think being gay is morally wrong adopting a child who may, when they discover their sexual identity, be gay. Some children discover which sex they are attracted to very very young way before they are old enough to have sex. Do we really want these people to tell their kid he's an abomination to God or that his "lifestyle" choice is wrong and might get him sent to Hell?

Another point is why do couples need to be Pro-Gay?

There is no Pro-Gay. There is Pro-equal rights for everyone and pro-discrimination against certain people. Go ahead and replace Gay with Black in your sentence. Ask us why everyone needs to be Pro-Black and how parents who think blacks are inferior should also be allowed to adopt.

They would only be teaching the child that Male and Female were meant to be together....

But you don't know that for certain. They're Christians and the Bible clearly states that homosexuality is an abomination. Now I don't know if they'd teach that to the kid, but the possibility is there. And regardless they are going to treat a gay kid differently than a straight one.

To follow your line of reasoning then we can conclude that if you bare born that way then you are born that way and not intended to be a child bearing member of society.
Your arg that you are born that way negates you from the natural function of child bearing and rearing that child unless you do it by force through physical or laws that intrude upon thsose of us that NATURALLY are born that way.
there is no way you can claim it's natural to be a homosexual and at the same time you have a claim to have them. You have to take them from a hetero sexual union (no matter how brief) to do so.
SO if you are born that way and you have rights due to this then theoretically your "rights" end when you cross the line into natural heterosexual activity.
I think the "being born that way" may give some supposed weight to other "gay rights" topic but not here.
If you claim you are born that way you clearly have no NATURAL rights to take a hetero child from a hetero couple.

GRANTED, you do have rights to raise a gay child from a gay couple that made one.

Nothing here says that homosexuals cannot marry. Only that if a man happens to marry a woman, he should lay with her.

By saying this he set the standard for relationships.

For male and female marriage.
Again, nothing here prevents homosexual marriage.

The original definition of marriage was two people who decided to be together. It wasn't until religion that the church became involved, and it wasn't until democracy that the government got involved.

So, if two people choose to be together. They are married according to humanities oldest traditions.

So if marriage was said to be man and woman then homosexuality is wrong.

Your conclusion is built on the false premise that Jesus' instructions for male-female marriage, is also condemnation of homosexual marriage.
