Union members have been duped by their union bosses, and most especially AFL-CIO Boss Trumka who is working with European Socialists and is calling for Global Governance (yes thats NWO UN style) and "financial global tax"
of course i understand how government works , why do you think i'm so pissed ! i know exactly what you are saying. my point is why do i have to pay for that stuff ? why do they get those perks on tax payer dollars? it seems very unfair. it's ok that a teacher in wi makes 60k for 180 days of work , all kinds of taxbreaks when they file , unemployment in the summer while they landscape and paint houses under the table , and the people of WI have to pay for their health and pensions? c'mon now

I have to disagree. Don't forget that union members pay taxes also and as taxpayers they have the right of free men to gather and work for their own best interest however they see fit; anything less is Fascism controlled by the Government or as in the case in WI., Big Corporations thru the Koch bros. Get over it.
I find it a bit hypocritical that conservatives that harp on smaller govt, and freedom want to give government even more control over some taxpayers because they happen to want a say in their livelihood.edit on 27-2-2011 by whaaa because: (no reason given)

Ok, let me get this straight. It is a great thing if workers don't want to be held hostage by the company they work for by being forced to help pay for their benefits (like everyone else has to), but it is fascism if companies don't want to be raked over the coals?
