Have you ever wondered why most of the world hates the US and do things like fly planes into buildings?

Wow.

Do you believe men in caves made NORAD stand down?
You must have been working on your "I Loathe the American People" thread when this one popped up

edit on 3-2-2011 by vermonster because: spelling

9/11 is that planes were flown into towers by muslim terrorists. The buildings might have been brought down by explosives, and there was most definitely insider knowledge into the events... but in terms of the hard facts concerning the planes, my conclusion is that the terrorists flew them into buildings because they were "allowed" to do so.

Who else is gonna be the suicide pilot in the cockpit?

Unless you are into the whole "no plane" theory or "remote-controlled plane" stuff.

The point I am trying to make is that 9/11 ignited the Muslim extremist agenda into full swing, and thanks to that there are terrorists out there who would love nothing more than to nuke New York city for the reasons I stated above.

oh, so once again, you're a non american who's advocating americans revolt against our government? oh, yeah, that's simple... lmao.
first of all, even though we may not like what our government does or the WAY it does things, i refer you to my previous post, it's still better than everywhere else. if the united states was as bad as other countries make it out to be, we would have zero problem with illegal immigration. and for the record, i'm not talking just about hispanics. i'm talking about people from haiti, vietnam, china, pretty much all over africa, and yes.. we even have illegals from canada. so, since we're so horrible, why are they coming? that's right... because we still have a better system.

and here you are. now telling us we should revolt. why don't you revolt against your government? oh, wait, you can't because... well, you can't.. see.. that's what i think is funny, people from other countries trying to goad us into starting an armed revolution, but here's the irony.. at least we CAN have an ARMED revolution.

and here, even amid your arguement, you lend credence to what my self, slayer and messonthefed and others have said, i see you posing no solutions. hold discussions? group meetings? well, that's cool.. but, who's bringing the cookies and kool aid?

we've spent so much time trying to make the word stable, and standing up for the little guy, and losing countless american lives in the process, i might add.....now, the world has to pinpoint our problems as the epicenter of a global "doomsday"??

you know what? how about a thank you? when was the last time another country stood up and said thank you for the lives we've lost? the fallen friends, brothers, sisters and fathers? for the turmoil in OUR country for the price we've paid? for the cries and sobs of children who will never have a bedtime story read to them?

yeah, the united stated of america has her problems... we've earned them.. but they are OUR problems.

by the way... you're welcome

Dear Small minded person,

Please look at the population of the US. Then look at the population of ATS. then read ATS. Paying close attention to how many Americans think our government is traveling in the correct direction. When you come back after that, you can start on your "boy was I an idiot" thread and apologize to the rest of the world.
Sincerely,

Most of the Americans on ATS.

You are missing the point, and aren't helping much by calling me "small-minded".

The vast majority of people viewing these threads are non-members who are simply "skimming" over the threads they see- testing the waters so to say. They don't know the history of threads on ATS, and have spent little to no time on the forums. That is part of who my message is aimed at.

Secondly, my message is aimed at the people you have just mentioned- the Americans on this site who constantly complain and berate their government and the direction it is taking, yet, to the extent of my knowledge, that is all they do. Sit around and complain. They know how bad things are, but they don't do anything- ATS is just a place to vent.

My message is for them and you: Get up off your computer chair, start spreading the information in your community and get people INFORMED!

So to you sitting in Canada, or in any other country that would presume that you have some special knowledge and/or insight that allows you to get up on a high horse and then tell us what we need to do to "fix" America, I simply say, "Take the log out of your own eye before you try and remove the speck from mine".

Canada isn't the Mother Teresa of the international community. Your country does stuff that others may not agree with. And what have you done to make a change within your own country?

You state that the rest of the world hates America. Guess what. Canada is our ally. They hate you too. Guilty by association I'm afraid. It's easy for you Canadians to sit up there talking all tough and pounding your chests. You know why? Because you have the biggest, baddest SOB on the block as your neighbor.

We have to spend a lot on our military because we have to keep bailing out the French everytime the Germans get a hair up their a$$.

What you should be doing is thanking every American on this site, because it's our tax dollars that pay for the military, the U.S. military, that defends you and every other Canadian.

K listen, we don't need the rest of the world to actually fly planes into buildings. We can manage that on our own just fine. Just be ready when we pass the buck, we always need a patsy.

I must say slayer, that read was the best-worded, fluently written anti-rant rant I have ever read.

I do know history well, and you are right, without a single doubt in my mind.

It is thanks to the US that the world has seen the highest standard of living, and it is thanks to the US that a lot of the peace that is currently present around the world exists.

But I feel that your historical background is a little off the point.

I'm not trying to say America is the worst empire that has ever existed, neither am I saying that my country is any better than yours. My intention (apparently misinterpreted), is to make note of the current situation of the world- not to compare past empires or re-point the proverbial finger.

I do know history well, and well enough to realize that is currently being written right now.... and right now, as my message states, the US is the empire causing the problems. Sure you could say China is worse, but that is an issue that is most definitely up for debate.

You have to point the finger somewhere to reveal where the bad apple- walking around with our hands in our pockets is not going to do anything.

My message is about getting up and doing something to stop the machine I described in my OP.

I'm not at all suggesting that the US be "dismantled" and lose its status as a prime player in geo-politics- I am saying that the system that is currently in control of the US needs to be taken down.... and that it is only through the community grass-roots efforts of common, blue-collar patriotic American citizens, like yourself, that change is going to come.

Sorry if I appeared to be "over-sensational" and egotistical- I never once said that my country, Canada, is any better than the US (if you think we sit around doing nothing, I think you are forgetting about the Toronto G20 protests, the biggest protests in Canadian history)- the US is just the center of the world's power, and as much as any other country wants to change, how are they supposed to stand up to the US? Change will only come from within.

Sweet, Canada doesn't have poor people! I didn't know that, but that's a neat fact there

Correction- rich on a relative scale.

In Canada, it doesn't matter how poor you are- you always have access to fresh water, a war-free environment, and food.

That kind of stuff is non-existent in the third world, were people are dying from starvation and un-clean water every minute.

I don't know why your Americans let your government spend that much on its military, seeing as how it spends 6 TIMES as much money on its military than its (arguably) biggest rival, China, and accounts for 43% of ALL military spending, and is more money spent then the next 14 top military spenders COMBINED.

Answer to #2.

In part, so that Canada doesn't have to spend much on it's military - think allowing your little brother to bring his BB gun along for a hunting trip - and is therefore free to "dabble" in European-style socialism.

You're quite welcome ...

Yes, as many have pointed out, a war-free environment based on a security umbrella paid for with some of the U.S. tax dollars you've been complaining about, plus U.S. blood.

No, we haven't lost our minds.

Fair question back to you:

Can you really be that naive?

The canadians on ats ? 95% are aware imo so hey i wouldn't rule it out !
I dont give a crap WHO starts the anti nwo revolution , just that someONE does !

I yes me ) will start it , if people in th uk are ready but hey , im not holding my breath .

ALL it takes is
for someone to go to their capital
be recorded via webcam LIVE at the capital
more people from ats join the persoh ,
as the crowd increases it will motivate more watching the live feed to join
soon enough you have a powerful non violent movement
media comes to see whats goin on, not ms media ! alternative! = more people ,
by the time ms media comes it is too late for them to misrepresent the movements intentions which = yup you guessed it , more people , 1 million should be the aim
come on guys
you KNOW deep down that tptb owe us big time !
THEY need to redistribute the wealth !!!!!!!!!!!
TPTB need to be in prison. not running and ruining our lives
The truthers and ats is made up of MANY professions , YOU have studied and researched in your free time imo you guys could run our countries better than these parasites !

much more planning would be needed but you get the picture .

It's pretty much a **** all situation. All hope is lost. Call me demoralized or lazy or what have you, but I'm telling you it's too late. This place is going to crumble no matter what we do. You just can't fix a country 80+ trillion in debt. It's impossible. That's 80,000 billion dollars. Each person in this country owes the government close to a million dollars.

Canada is on the way to having more immigrants than home-grown citizens. And we too have illegals from your country- mostly people who have refused to fight over-seas and have fled for fear of being thrown in Jail. If you were to trade geographic places, Canada would have just as much- if not more illegal mexican/cuban immigrants as the US does.

You claim you have a better system... but is that why people come to the US? Or is it because they are escaping oppression and lack of ressources and going to the richest country in the world? And you can't possibly argue that America has the best system- that is laughable- what about the Fed? The trillions upon trillions of dollars of debt that Americans will never be able to pay because they are stuck paying the rising interest debt into the hands of private bankers?

I would argue that Canada has a much better economic system than the US- out of all the western countries, we were one of the least affected by the US caused recession. We don't have a centralized private bank- We don't pay our taxes right into the pockets of private bankers.

But I guess that is off topic... so nevermind.

and here you are. now telling us we should revolt. why don't you revolt against your government? oh, wait, you can't because... well, you can't.. see.. that's what i think is funny, people from other countries trying to goad us into starting an armed revolution, but here's the irony.. at least we CAN have an ARMED revolution.

I never once said to pick up arms and start a violent revolution- violent revolution leads to a violent government. The violence may be temporary, but the evil it causes lasts forever.

Did India have a violent revolution when they ousted the British?

and here, even amid your arguement, you lend credence to what my self, slayer and messonthefed and others have said, i see you posing no solutions. hold discussions? group meetings? well, that's cool.. but, who's bringing the cookies and kool aid?

I give you credence because they raise valid points that leads to a more stimulating and knowledgeable debate. It would be pretty boring if everyone just gave thumbs or thumbs down... I like being challenged- did you actually think that I wasn't expecting to be flamed when I made this thread? Did you think I was just in search of a bunch of Anti-Americans to come along to flag and star me and say "OMG your so right MONTSSSSS!!! YO SO" COOL 4 HATING AMERICA!!!!".

I made this thread to state a message, and have smart people respond to it and have a discussion about it, and in that matter it has been pretty successful.

Do you have any better solutions?

I said revolution happens in phases- first phase is awareness; getting informed people off their computer chairs and spreading the word. Who else is best to rely on for help and support than your neighbor?

Once people organize and learn the truth, then you can start talking about what to physically do about it.

we've spent so much time trying to make the word stable, and standing up for the little guy, and losing countless american lives in the process, i might add.....now, the world has to pinpoint our problems as the epicenter of a global "doomsday"??

Sure America has done more than it's fair share to help solve problems... but is that any excuse to just take the attitude of apathy towards current American policy that is obviously corrupt beyond measure and is causing death and destruction at home and abroad?

you know what? how about a thank you? when was the last time another country stood up and said thank you for the lives we've lost? the fallen friends, brothers, sisters and fathers? for the turmoil in OUR country for the price we've paid? for the cries and sobs of children who will never have a bedtime story read to them?

yeah, the united stated of america has her problems... we've earned them.. but they are OUR problems.

Whoa whoa whoa buddy.

You think Canada sits around on our arses doing nothing and haven't lost people dear to us?

I'll tell you this- there is a military base about a 15 minute drive away from my town, and I KNOW people who have lost uncles, dads, brothers and sons to war. Canada CREATED the UN peacekeepers.

We fought for over 3 years in both world wars before Americans came in to "save the day". You might have saved the day, and sacrificed alot to do so, and for that I am thankful, but to claim America is the only country who has lost anything to war and the only one who stands up to oppression is incredibly ignorant and borderline insulting.

So then I am just supposed to wait around and watch America burn the world because I'm not American?

In case you were un-aware, the G20 meeting in Toronto this year saw the biggest protests- as well as the biggest police abuses- in Canadian history, and right now there are still investigations going on about the incident, and Canadians are speaking out.

I see your point... but since when do Canadians have any kind of power to change US policy, even if we were to form a government that wasn't pro-American?
