It's a shame people aren't more understanding of each other. What you all are forgetting is these people were raised with this being a religious sin. Its beyond them to be afraid of homosexuality.

Also when you enlist you basically sign yourself over as government property for your term. you're there to work not talk about who you do it with.
If I was enlisted and got a sunburn on leave, I would be punished for damaging government property. Same thing applies if I get caught having hetero sex on the base.

The gays were not allowed to sit in their cots and write letters to their families back home under "Don't ask, Don't tell", but the heteros could sit around and talk about their wives and children to the other troops. "Protects both sides" .

I didn't refer to anyone as a retard and I certainly didn't admit to defeat. I only brought up the word abnormal to soften the more sensitive members (no pun intended).
