Exactly, I want to wake up one day in the near future with news of a new American revolution in progress. Then maybe I will have hope that this world can turn around, but as long as that piece of # Obama is dragging the country - and ultimately the whole planet - into hell, I just despair.

PLEASE stop saying "DEMOCRACY". The United States of America,is, and has been since it's inception, a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, with democratically-elected REPRESENATIVES.

I'm starting to see this as one MASSIVE diversion to something else over the horizon. Such a big mess in the gulf, BP dumping sand instead of cleaning, media blackouts, Wackenhut security on scene, BP controlling US property, a no fly zone that also covers the path of Alexs' path inland, non-disclosure from our govt. Yeah, there's a turd in the punchbowl alright...

From what I remember about the report when it was first shown on AC, he said that initially, it was supposed to be 1000 ft. but then they scaled it back to 65 ft. He also stated that it wasn't just reporters but anyone who got near it, this includes fisherman who are still able to fish in some areas down there.

In my opinion, the toxicity does play a huge role in what is going on. If this methane threat is real (which I believe it is) & boats started sinking or people just dropped dead, everyone would really start freaking out.

It is also very apparent that there is a cover-up going on & has been since day 1. They are desperately trying to hide the massive scale of the disaster for obvious reasons.

On every level, there is something seriously wrong here. One thing is for sure, none of us are going to know the real truth until it is too late.

Just my 2 cents.

The MSM is still reporting on the blowout, but they've shifted to discussing the effects that it has had on the economy, especially today. We're not seeing anything we haven't already seen. While I can understand the need for safety, this is a slippery slope. It reminds me of the frog in the pot story. How long are we going to sit in the pot before we realized we're being boiled alive?

No it is not true that most americans do not care about the oil spill. Sure you have a good portion of americans who have no idea how bad it is and just watch the news and hope for the best. I however believe that we also have a good portion of americans who are well informed and are pissed off and who are concerned. The best I can do is spread the word and let people know that there is more to this than we hear about on the MSM.

First off it's not just the American government that is apart of the NWO. They are stationed in majority of the governments of the world. They work together. BP is not an American company, and the whole southern portion off the coast of the US under attack. Hatiti, Katrina, the Gulf coast. Something is up over there.

I cannot believe it. I honestly cannot believe this.

I believe there is much, much more that they don't want us to see than just oiled birds. My guess is that there is much more. Perhaps the health condition of the people on the boats, or the actual conditions of the water, or who knows what else. But it cannot just be oiled birds that they don't want us to see.

What amazes me is that this is not the major news story of every news organization in the world. America suspends the first amenedment on fouth of July weekend. What amazes me is that every journalist is not up in arms. What amazes me is that I've been watching the news as I workout at the gym (the TV was tuned to CNN), and THIS is now the first I've heard of this.....when I log onto ATS for my daily news dose. Now I know why I come to ATS for all the real news.

I amazed that there is not a riot starting. I amazed that there is not a revolution of words going on on the TV stations. Why aren't the journalists screaming this from every corner of the country? I guess that just goes to show that our news has been bought and paid for...and controlled....by the US government......for a long time now.

I'd like to hear from any journalists who are on ATS about how you guys feel abou this. I myself was going to major in journalism in college, but then when I was watching how pathetic CNN was as a news source, I realized that I didn't want to be any part of the "new media." Thank God I didn't.

It's up to us to pick up where the supposed "real reporters" have failed us.

I want to know what they're hiding, and why they think they have a right to hide it. If there is something worse happening than just the oil, then we deserve to know what it is. If the chemicals are making the boat workers ill, then we deserve to see it.

How on earth is this happening, and nobody is concerned or pissed off about it, besides a few of us?? HOW?

What does it take to ring those alarm bells in the head of the public? Even now, only a select few individuals are processing or discussing this. Even now, the rest of our population is running about, caught up in the fantasy of their own reality without the slightest care of what is occurring right beneath their noses. Even now, thousands of people across the U.S. are filling their cars up with BP oil and couldn't care less about the suffering in the gulf, because if it doesn't directly affect them, then it might as well not exist.

The chains are tightening. Whom out there can feel it? How many of you understand what we are all inside of? How many of you remember who you really are?

Don't succumb to fear. Fear is only effective if it penetrates your mind which is the reason that they use the media, radio, television, printed and electronic media. They bombard you with fear, paranoia, and the possibility of future fear...wars and rumors of wars. Stay aware and continue to study, but, don't allow them to establish the mental control that they so desperately seek to finalize their plan. They are on a strict schedule of time. The less fear that you have, the more it interferes with their schedule.

Yep, you are correct. Its hilarious, I was watching the movie "They Live," on youtube the other day and almost forgot about its existence. Its a movie made by John Carpenter about how a malevolent force infiltrates the world governments which turns it into a fascist state geared upon total control of the population through the media and the military. This movie's only downfall is that they used former professional wrestler "Rowdy Roddy Piper" as its main star. The point gets delivered well though. You would be outright surprised how close to reality that movie truly is. I would almost say that it is a perfect blue print to what is happening right in front of our eyes. And yes, V for Vendetta is another prime example of how the world mirrors what we assume to be fiction. The hilarious thing is this, there are multiple movies out there that are presented as fiction or figments of the imagination that are reflective of this reality, and people still don't get it. Its dangling right in our faces every moment that we breathe...but no one sees it. Its a very clever design, isn't it?
