The woman was not the one with the warrant; neither was she the one that killed the officers. Had you read the OP or at least had the slightest bit of comprehension you might have realized that.

As posted earlier had these cops acted in a even slightly more defensive manner ATS posters would be talking about the police sate and how these cops were going overboard. There is no winning with the people who have personal issues with police in general because no matter what they do they are seen in the same light as all others and they can do nothing right.

Let's not get carried away with ourselves here. I made 1 single oversight in reading the summary, which was that they pulled over a male.

The article starts off stating the police were in search of a female for questioning in the deaths of the cops and that she was taken into custody. So it sure sounds like it was a female who did it from the outset. Then they briefly mention that the actual person involved in the shooting was a male. So you can kind of see how someone could make that simple oversight. My bad.

However, for you to use hyperbole like "if you at least had the slightest bit of comprehension" is major overkill and actually kind of funny.

Not having the "slightest bit of comprehension" would be this,"Why did the stop sign shoot the police officers? How is that even possible? This is the craziest story I've ever read!"

If someone says that, then you can accuse them of not having the slightest bit of comprehension, Mr. Hyperbole.

I thinks you misunderstood my post. You do not know how things are here in Socal, the police are so corrupt its like were back in the 70's. You need to understand what we see here, what citizens have to go through.

Police shooting unarmed people in LA, even the own chief of police of San Bernardino got cough with a DUI and the own cops that pulled him over tried to cover things up. The guy was driving a Chrysler 300 and wrecked it.

In the city I live its gone so bad that I do not even see police patrolling the streets anymore. I see them hiding close 4 way stop signs and as soon as someone does not stop to their standards they get pulled over. This is a area that has a high crime rate.

Police in Ontario California kidnapped a woman in the mall and rapped her. The only reason he got cough was because he left his gun in her car.

Another police sexually assaulted a latina female of the 405 freeway.

There was a case when cops pulled a gun out on a corwd where there was no danger.

Things might be nice and dandy where you are butt here cops are not acting like cops anymore. These are the people I hate with a passion and these are who that ruins it for you my good apple. You want me to stop talking like this then teach cops how to protect and serve.

They are now offerin a reward for the guy that killed them. Here it says 30k, on another site 75k and my girlfriend read somewhere else 100k. They are def out to catch this guy and rightly so. Dude deserves what he gets. Like state before, these types of things are happening more and more around here (tampa bay area). Not only are cops gettin shot at but its almost like every day i turn on the news somebody else gets shot up. Its a damn shame.

Good, I am actually glad they died. I hope more of them do die horrible deaths. Things find a way of getting even from what they do to the people. HAHA, lets see more of them die. Just like the 2 stupid CHP that died in southern cali.

Dude, I am against the police state and all manner of moral policing, but this has nothing to do with it. What you posted is disgusting.

Seeing that you did not even have to click on a link to read the story I will stand with my original post.

Call me what you wil, but when people are not fully reading stories you get posts that are confusing and contridicting to to OP.

According to this the dude had a bit of a record. Cocaine possession, bad checks and attempted murder. Also heard on the radio this morning that the reward money is officially $95k right now.

Let's see, I'm a police officer and I see a car with no license plate.

I can pull that car over and enforce the law or I can speculate on a a truck going by that may or may not have illegal aliens in it.

That arguement doesn't make sense to me.

And people wonder why police officers use tazers and lethal force.

This is a tragedy, two young men dead, because of some scum bags.

Not everyone is a scum bag that deserves being tazed and the use of deadly force, right?

"Remember the old saying "INNOCENT TILL PROVEN GUILTY?"

I don't see how this incident justifies the rise of police brutality across the planet.

And just cause a couple cops go bad and taze doesnt mean that they all are bad for tazing...sometimes it does warrant being tazed.

Careful, you are venturing on the brink of logical thought. Everyone knows “all cops” are bad, and corrupt, and whatever other garbage spews forth when you hear about some bad person who happens to be a cop doing something wrong.

I think there is more to this then meets the eye. Lets see the guy knows he has a warrant and is driving in a car with no license plates. Gee even the dumbest criminal knows that such a car will be a cop magnet.

I suspect this guy wanted a confrontation with police. Also it sounds to me like he acted as though he was going to comply probably putting the cops at ease a bit then pulled his weapon and fired.

Now as much as I disagree that the cops have a right to pull someone over for refusing to sign thier car over to the municipal corporation posing as lawful government and that cops are just corporate employees enforcing corporate statutes which are not law. Never the less the facts of life are no plate and you will be pulled over and everyone knows it. So this guy had to know and either was high and didn't care or was looking for a confrontation. Either way he knew what he would do when (not if) he got pulled over.

Very true, logic does seem to not exist in subjects like this. I am not a cop, but have met many over the years due to certain circumstances. In my experience, some cops are cool, some are dicks. Just like everybody else you meet. Its rather funny to see how immature some people are when this subject comes up and they tote that popular line that "All cops are pigs" and what not. In reality they are just trying to look cool and in reality it has the opposite effect on that person to somebody that has an intelligence and maturity level above someone in high school.

On another note, this guy is now wanted in 3 other murders as well now. So yeah, guess those cops deserved it huh? Some of these people need to pull their heads outa their butts. This guy needs to get off of the streets. I honestly hope he doesnt turn himself in cause im willing to bet they will unload on his ars. Also, the reward has been raised to 100k, confirmed. They are also looking for his brother for info and a couple of vop warrants that he has out on himself.

Man, I absolutely hate hearing about things like this.
It hasn't been that long since we lost an officer here due to a shooting. We had one die in a shootout last September while chasing a violent suspect . His death was the first officer to have lost his life in a shooting in twenty eight years. The last two Charleston officers to have lost their lives before this last one was in 1981 when two officers where shot to death in a traffic stop.

This story that was posted sounds eerily similar to the particular shooting here back in 1981. Two officers stop a car in what should have been a normal traffic stop. Minutes later, two officers are dead and the suspect is either caught or killed by their victims' fellow officers. In the case that occured here, the suspect was caught and is still sitting in jail.

Hy heart goes out to the friends, families, and co-workers of these fallen officers.

Two down, how many more left?

When these police officers who "Serve and Protect" come crashing through your door, sorry "knocking on your door" to enforce your protection by placing you into a FEMA camp while confiscating all your gold, jewellery and money, "For your own protection from thieves". Just remember your soft hearted "Poor little mights" for the people that do these sorts of things:

Police tazzer 86 year old in bed

Police strip woman and left her naked for 6 hours

5 NYPD officers charged in sodomy assault

Most Wanted Cop on Run from the Law

Police officer molest 3 minor girls and cow

Police deputy sentenced for molesting 11 years old girl

Police abusing and beating 64 years old man

Police dump disabled man out of his wheelchair

LA police officer beating and strangling a man lying on the ground

Police taser autistic teen

teen killed by taser

Another teen death

This is about 0.001% of the abuse dealt out by the Police! If you still think they are nice guys then you should be reading CNN and Fox Online!

Tell you what. Lets get rid of all the cops out there. Lets get rid of all the FBI, CIA, everything. Id bet you would be the first to be taken advantage of. You sound a little to much like another keyboard warrior who just bites a little to much more than he can chew in real life and is relagated to internet play to voice your emotions. You also sound like you buy a little to much into the whole conspiracies are everywhere thing that happens to invade alot of the peoples minds on here.

And before you start the "Well its a conpsiracy site so yada yada yada", let me go ahead and cut you off. I do believe there are SOME conspiracies out there, but for the most part it is really just people taking advantage of one another, like the current economic crisis and what led up to it. If you really want somebody to blame for the current econ crisis, why dont you look at the people who made a commission off of every deal they pushed thru. The realtors, the closing agents, the finance agents, they are the real reason why it is what it is. Not the big scary presidents of the banks, it really is the little people that pushed thru the bs paperwork to get that commission check. But, I digress.

Not everyone that is a cop is bad. I never met either of these two cops but if you cant even feel a little bit for their families who are left behind and have to deal with this then I wish the same upon you. Grow up.

Police officer molest 3 minor girls and cow

OK, I read the link, and it wasn't very funny. I know that people in authority positions often abuse it. Police, Priests, Coaches, etc.

Still, if I ever go down for something like this, I want my headline to read just like that! I mean, jail sucks, mean people suck, but if you are gonna go down, go down in style!

GetReadyAlready arrested for possession of 2 illegal midgets and pornographic Bovine Material!

RIP to the noble officers. The shooter probably had some drugs on him and decided that he did not want to go to jail for having them . Murder was his option. Letting people have legal drugs would probably have saved these lives. Enforcing these archaic laws puts officers in harms way.
