My problem is from day to day I can't figure if its a 'good thing' or a 'bad thing'.
That's natural- a lot of us have that same confusion. I personally believe it will be a 'bad thing' at first and a 'good thing' eventually. My opinion is based off religious prophecy, though, and seeing what past mega-governments have been capable of.

Asians are simply just too powerful. The NWO concept always comes from the western elites.
I certainly see your point. In terms of Bilderbergs and such, it is definitely Western-centric. However, no one can deny Asia is a force to be reckoned with and grows more powerful with time. Asia isn't exactly left out in the cold, however.
For instance, there is a lot of speculation currently taking place that even China may 'lead the NWO.' Since the East has begun to be main players in world affairs (especially finance and technology) as of the 20th century, expect to be hearing more from them. Even web searches of things like Asia, China, Japan, NWO will yield several results.

This has been done to death but I guess being a mod it will not get closed... I am sorry I expected more.
Patience. This thread took me about 5 days to write. It is only the first part. I'm considering doing a continuation piece but wanted to lay the ground work first.

If we had one united government that was a democracy, with a Constitution that guarantees the rights of the citizens, much as the US Constitutions does, would it really be such a horrible thing?
That is the main question and only the future holds the answer. What we can do is look at history and human nature. Every man made system is soiled with corruption- even the 'free' states. What mostly keeps governments in check is a system of checks and balances. Although this could still be done in a one world government, it stands to reason one global government entity would not have the broad scale we do now of various nations holding each other accountable.
We would need some sort of massive watchdog agency with just as much power as the government itself. Even that could fall victim to corruption, though.
Thanks again for everyone's posts.
