I have to say, as part of my health regimen.. I recently addressed in the previous couple of months... the assault as i see it on my Sex...

I'm going to say something in this thread. I'm going to say it once and if you have an issue, please contact me about it, but I'm not saying it again.

What you saw may have been consensual, even though it may not be something you would consent to. Activities like this can fall into the category of BDSM, which is legal in many areas if both parties are actively consenting to the activities. That also includes something called "consensual nonconsent" which is a difficult concept to grasp.

I don't know what you saw. But I am familiar with this topic. It makes the majority of the population cringe, but there are a great number of people who partake in related activities on a regular basis.

It's not sexual violence. I mean, it can be, but it's a complex topic and the parties involved must be consenting for it to be okay.

There are no statistics that show that interest in BDSM is in any way correlated to rape or sexual violence out of that context. Yes, there have been cases where they have been correlated, and these cases are famous and make the entire BDSM community look crazy and irresponsible.

I suggest researching it more. It's likely that it may be difficult to understand, but this isn't the place to explain it or discuss it. But I'm saying it is a possibility and that this is more common than you probably think, between consenting individuals. BDSM can be very, very extreme even among consenting individuals who enjoy the entire process.

I hope this post isn't deleted but I imagine it might be. I won't bring it up again. But please read the wikipedia article on BDSM and maybe that will help. It may not float your boat, but it is a part of the lives of many consenting, responsible, sane adults, including probably people that you know. It's part of private life, in most cases, and yes it can be extreme and look scary. But no, it doesn't encourage or allow rape or any truly non-consensual activities.

Maybe you don't want to be choked, slapped, thrown, whatever. But other people do.

BDSM couples actually have a statistically much higher rate of non divorced marriages than Joe and Jane straight do in daily life.

Many theories on why that would be, most seem to come down to clear cut discussions of each others needs an activity or hobby lol if you will in regards to sexuality that helps prevent a sex life from going boring and clearly defined rules and expectations in regards to sex...

All that aside, it's hard to judge anything at a glance as to what is going on...
