Concerning the drop in burglaries and homicides they may in fact be attributed to porn, specifically internet porn. You'd have to look at the areas that had a decrease in crime and see if they had an increase in internet access and internet porn. From there you would have to do many more tests, studies and surveys. For more insight refer to the study by Todd Kendal, get the latest info from the UCR and NCVS and dig in.

What you could ask is - how is that all the reported crimes are falling across the board and your prisions are still full the exploding?

All the reported crimes are not falling across the board. Type I is falling in certain areas yet increasing in others. Yes there is some type of balance, but you still have Type II that are seeing an increase. In regards to prisons exploding, there are severe flaws within the CJ system, especially when it comes to sentencing guidelines and practices. Moreover, many parolees are sent back due to Type II crimes, and this does nothing but increase the recidivism rate and increase the prison population boom. IMHO, we need to utilize what is known as "restorative justice" and find better ways to treat offenders (especially when it comes to type II offenses.)

But its not only with porn, its with everything: The mistaken idea that a 2-dimensional internet-screen is somehow easier and therefore more enjoyable than real-life. Thats a trap for the mind and soul.

I wouldn't call any of that violent. In fact, a lot of times that happens in regular porn it just depends on the company or star/starlet and the series or lineup they're doing. A bit on the extreme side based on my tastes? Yes. Violent as in criminal? That's where things get blurry. However, you did say this was a legal film correct? That would mean the adults were consenting, and I have no problem with what consenting adults do. However, if this was a film of an actual rape (not mock rape or roleplay) I would have a problem with it.

In short, you saw something that blew your mind, and in your eyes it may be deviant. However, that does not mean it is "violent". BTW, if you truly don't want your head blown stay away from the foreign stuff.

They might enjoy the sex-act itself, but they often dont enjoy going through what it takes to get to know someone first, dating, and what they call "the whole ordeal".

Thats why they use porn in the first place, because its "so much easier" and readily available for free.
