Send up a goddamn helicopter with a goddamn net to capture the goddamn thing!

Sorry -- very frustrated with these videos where "proof" of something is within our reach, and we just stick it on YouTube for fun.

Chaz.

I just can't see how balloons would move in such a way. It may just be my perception but it seems that the movement at only the ends is deliberate.
Picture the balloon structure with a kite string at either end. Keep both strings even, the structure forms the 'c' shape. Pull each string separately or let them slack, you get movement on the end selected. Another string fastened in the middle of the length of the structure could give even more elaborate effects.

I sometimes despair about the willingness of people to not believe the obvious. This is clearly a bunch of balloons or even a kite, as has been pointed out by quite a few people so far.

No, wait a minute it just winked at me.

It's an errant balloon arch, either accidentally or deliberately released.

Meh, it's just the light from Venus refracting through a cloud of swamp gas, bouncing off a dirigible coupled with drug-induced mass hysteria.
Or it's an unknown flying thing...whatever...

And, the ends seems to move independently, ignoring wind effects.

That's because there are 2 effects at works here. Wind and or Jet stream and helium.

You know..... what if I say to one of my friends (well I have two of them) ...

"Hey....go look on ATS...what a great website!"

Then, they see this "bunch of balloons is an alien space snake monster" thread.

Terrific stuff.......

Silly threads like this make hard work of finding the quality reading on ATS.

It looks like a bunch of balloons to me, i remember a similar video posted here on ATS sometime ago.

It seems that almost all UFO footage from Mexico is fake. What's up with that?

Yet they continue.

Because moderators are too worried about one line post taking up too much bandwith.

I would say "I agree".

However I can't, because that would be a 1 line post.

I found something new that kind of fits in..
UAV, Sanswire,STS-111

Aerial drones have garnered a lot of attention (and controversy) for their ability to launch missile strikes for the U.S. military against enemies in Afghanistan, Pakistan and other hotspots. However, the Department of Defense is now cultivating another type of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for use in combat planning, designed to soar high above the battlefield for so-called ISR (intelligence gathering, surveillance and reconnaissance) missions.

The STS-111 aircraft, which is still in prototype, is in essence a worm-like weather balloon that undulates through the Earth's lower atmosphere, guided by satellite or ground communications or programmed to operate autonomously. "It's really a communications platform that has the ability to provide ISR," says Dan Erdberg, vice president of operations for Sanswire Corp. in Aventura, Fla. Sanswire and Stuttgart, Germany-based TAO Technologies formed a new entity called Sanswire-TAO in June 2008 specifically to develop, market and sell a lineup of ISR UAVs (the STS-111 being their first).

You've gotta ask yourself why something like this would be floating around without aparent purpose, seems to be affected by wind very easily, to me its very unimpressive in terms of an Alien life form showing off in the atmosphere. i say Balloons or something like that
