Why did God create the Dinosaurs?

(If there is or was a god -- I don't know) The most logical answer would be God made dinosaurs because they balanced out the food chain of other animals.

Too many leaves for the trees own good? Make some Dinos
Seeds from trees need dispersing? Make some Dinos.
Too much oxygen in the atmosphere? Make some Dinos.
Too many Dinosaurs? Make carnivore Dinos.

My point being, the dinosaurs existed because they fit in with the huge complex structure of the ecosystem , nature, and the food chain.

I can't approach this from a theist point of view. But can give insight on my own theories why dinosaurs no longer thrive.

Over 200 million years ago the dinosaurs came about during the Jurrassic period.

About 145 million years ago Pangea broke up and created the continental drifts. The world actually grew. Satellite imagery proves this by showing stretchmarks on the ocean floors. As the earth grew, the atmosphere shrank and gravity became greater.

What made the dinosaurs thrive? This is purely my take. Less gravity, thicker atmosphere resulting in much lower radiation exposure and a higher oxygenated environment. But then comes along an asteriod or two. And whamo, they become extinct.

The size of the dinosaur was was so great, they had to have huge heart pumping machines and massive muscular strength to move around (which takes a great deal of oxygen). I can't find any other plausible explanations.

This all speculation and my last 2 cents.

Well, I could say God has his own plan. But, thats not me.

There are a few hints of them in the Bible, but basically, the Bible is the account of what has happened and is happening and will happen in the creation in the time of mankind. It is the book dedicated to what happens between man and God since his creation.

The dinosaurs were an earlier creation and what went on at that time isn't so much talked about in the Bible, however, some ancient texts do describe that an angelic system was here and that it rebelled and God destroyed it and all life from the Earth. While this is described in other ancient texts, the Bible repeats this scenario after the fallen angels again attempt to interfere with God's creation and corrupt all flesh. God again destroys it covering the Earth again in water under darkness, only this time he spares some of the human and animal life that is not affected with tampering by the fallen angels.

Why does god spare some human and animal life, why does it not do away with it all and start again ????? Surely the god you believe in has the power to do that. Or is what we know as god not really the big cheese after all.

Also...is there a j/k to follow that story? because honestly, if not, I'd love to see the proof. Not only out of all my years of Christian study have I never EVER heard ANYTHING near this story, but also because it just sounds incredibly insane. I'm sorry...but it sounds like a cool ancient war type movie...but no where near possible.

But angel fossils...lets go lisa simpson on this and find some!

There are two camps on when things were created. To some, the Earth existed and had life on it prior to Adam and the animals we see today. To others, everything began at the point where God says let there be light. I believe that the Earth was already here and that it was filled with animal life and under the governance of Lucifer and the Angels until the rebellion. The Earth was punished by God and all life ended and the kingdom of the fallen angels was over. The Earth ended up a water world under thick clouds of darkness and without life. At sme point thereafter God clears away the clouds, brings back dry land, creates life, and finally mankind whom he set to rule the planet.

Or to put another way, mother nature here on earth goes through a natural cycle, the ice caps melt as do the glaciers melt covering most of the planet in water, Over time the earth cools again the ice caps and glaciers come back the land returns as dry land. The history is there in the BIBLE, it's just the codes need cracking. Everything written in the bible seems to be in code but some take it as, as you say Gospel.

God did not create Dinosaurs...
he did however allow the Arch-Angel Lucifer, the 'prince' of this material world (Earth itself) to experiment with all sorts of life forms, biospheres,
environments...
In fact Lucifer [before the Fall] used the Earth planet as his lifeform 'sandbox', to experiment with creatures he could populate the rest of the cosmos with, in all the various envionmental conditions immaginable.

There never were life forms teeming on otherworlds until Lucifer put those lifeforms through the test-stages here on planet Earth, first.

When God found out Lucifer had developed all these lifeform 'codes' to then place all over the cosmos in a future of Lucifer's choosing, (other than JUST the Earth), that's when the 'heavenly revolt' took place...
and 1/3 of the 'angels' were on the side of Lucifer against the Supreme-Being called God


Later on, the "God the creator" started his Genisis Experiment aka: 'The Beginning' which climaxed with the creation of 'Adamic Man' ...
all this activity was very much later in the history of the cosmos and in the Earth's 4 billion years...

in fact God's creation of plants/animals/man was only in a tiny experimental compound called a 'Garden-of-Eden' sometime around the end era of the last Ice-Age (15-13k years ago).

Lucifer (pre-fall name) was then re-named 'Satan' in God's tiny Garden compound...
a Garden-of-Eden that was located on and surrounded by Lucifers'-Satans' Earth Station Colony which included humans & the old Dinosaur fossils too.

4000 years actually. The Bible is a derivative of the Ancient Sumerian texts, namely the Enuma Elish or the Creation Story written on stone tablets, discovered in the forties (this is where the themes for so many Indian Jones Movies comes about) and only got finished being thoroughly translated about 20 years ago.

the dinosaurs were the spawn of the fallen angels and animals...they mated with humans to create the nephilim this is in the bible and is a huge part of the early world..it is why god flooded the earth and why he would have the israelites wipe out whole nations..the nations still held the tainted blood of the hybrid offspring..

while it is not considered divinely inspired, the book of enoch even says they began to sin against animals (right after it talks about the fallen angels mating with women)...

if you accept the nephilim idea (which is in the bible) it solves a lot of problems, also we have found tons of giant skeletons but that is another story...the problems though..dinosaurs can be explained,this explains god's seemingly unmerciful actions towards certain groups of people, the spirit of the nephilim, which are half angel which are eternal and half human which are not, could be the demons we see post flood

i dont accept that dinosaurs were here before man because that puts death before sin which is not biblical

What's the problem with dinosaurs? You take the bible to litaral in fact witht he 6,000 years. I know your sarcastic. but your minipulation of the bible has to stop. dinos came died than mammals then man. is it that hard to swallow that God destroyed the dinos to put us on earth?

Honestly I side with logic my friend on this one more so than the bible for dinosaurs. seeing how their two different topics. I haven't read enoch but i do have it on me. anywho. Ancient man have been around for awhile before then. were talking about caveman just starting out civilizations and such. Dinos have been gone for awhile real long. long long time.65 million years ago. No dinos during noah. Satan got mad at mankind. mankind existed when satan got mad. As far as i know it dinosaurs and mankind never coexisted or spawned out freaks of nature. besides the nephilim. seeing how the carbon levels were different i dont think man would of survived in the atmosphere. We would be huge. Like 20+ft tall. Yes nephilim were around 7-10 ft tall. . We were just starting out barely on our feet in a civilized world when the fallen angels came. anywho believe what you believe

It is my opinion that the Earth is 4 billion years old (as according to science), evolution happened, dinosaurs went extinct 65 million years ago, etc. But that doesn't mean I am atheist or don't believe in a god. I don't see why the very fact that all this happened, even evolution, a 4 billion year old Earth, dinosaurs, everything science has proven could not be attributed to a god or some universal force. Personally I have never saw the issues people try to place between science and religion, also I think BOTH have A LOT still to learn. This is all my opinion though.

maybe a "god" or race of people created life on earth a billion years ago and it did evolve, but was also tinkered with here and there to somewhat control it....

Then....sometime during all this, another race of people came and started using the creatures of this planet to help them achieve whatever goal they were striving to complete........

they tinkered with the various creatures even more, something the original "gods" never intended.....

The one standing important thing though, is that the life on this planet must never know the true nature of their being until they are ready to fully comprehend it...



Somewhere in all this, life was created, and another race of beings came and used this life to create/evolve certain life into something useful for them..

Just like all life there is both good and bad, one and the other....

sometimes good is bad and bad is good......sometimes good people do bad things and bad people do good things....

basically the who, what, when , where, why, how, of our existence is just so incomprehensible to us as we are right now , that it is not worth spending so much of your brain power on thinking about it........



i'm sure we are being used....i'm sure there are various other intelligent life out in the universe....I'm sure we are all connected....I'm sure leaders of this world are withholding amazing secrets from most of the population of this planet, and i'm sure WE are all god.........

It experiences itself as creator through everything that it has created in existence...

that is how god is everything and nothing all at the same time....at any moment it could be something and it could not be something....all at the same time...

Ummm, how did god see before he turned the lights on?
why are there no cave paintings of Dinosaurs?
why are there no flints found with dinosaurs?
Just how could he (god) create everything, the whole universe, in six days?
There is not enough water on this planet to cover every single bit of land, that includes mountains, if all the ice melted, the sea level would rise 400 feet world wide, most land is above 400 feet. (Google it)

Geesh, everyone knows the answer to this one.

To make billions and billions of gallons of oil for us to use millions of years later.

Why did God create the dinosaurs? Its simple because he didn't. Why must we anthropomorphise everything? Anyhow, here is a better question; Why would a God that created us, also create viruses which would destroy us? Why would a God that create us, create the horrible Guinea worm which reeks havoc on humans alone? Why would God create humans which are parasites and destroy their own planet? Why would God create all biological life such that it must feast, dominate, compete, and prey on itself for survival?

None of the God people have answers for this. The answer is that things are just because they are (has taken me many decades of searching to finally realize this - and I used to be a fundamental Christian before finally using my head).
