Cool beans. What a primo idea for a thread

1> I LOVE to bake. My mum is the best cook in the world and I grew up with all this fabulous home cooking. I guess some of it rubbed off on me.

2> I am a SUCKER for funny ANYTHING, kahlua, beachy tunes, sunny days, The Sims, interesting spiritual and far-fetched theories, sarsaparilla, cute, fluffy animals (esp. cats) and flashes of creativity
More Than A Feeling by Boston is my fav song of all time

3> I've got tix to see Acca Dacca when they come to Brisbane next year!! WOOT

4> I was a frequent participant in my dad's commercials when I was younger..

5> I am an AVID music listener, to the extremes. I love listening to a lot of indie and alternative and stuff that isn't widely known or mainstream.

i've had long hair all my life. when i was about 20 something, i'm 45 right now, i was in arkansas digging quartz crystals, camped on top of a mountain. there was a few of us hanging out when the forest service rangers raided our camp. we were doing nothing wrong and pretty much told them to go away. i guess this pissed them off, so they sent in the state police. i was arrested for illegal camping, they couldn't find any drugs or anything. i was held for 72 hours, and i guess they were so pissed that they couldn't do anything that they knocked me and my buddy around a bit, cut our hair and then dropped us off about 15 miles down an old dirt road. lets just say it was a long walk back to camp.

That's cool. I frequented a TV show and was on a cable company commercial as a kid. Well, You saw my five facts...

What a terrible experience.

On a lighter note, I have been to Arkansas looking for diamionds. I forget the name of it. There is a park out there where you can pay to dig around and look for diamonds. Every now and then some one finds some. I found a piece of rose quartz though. That was cool.

Anything really. LOL I remember doing ads for Santa Claus in the mall, sitting on his lap and smiling haha. At one time we even had half of my preschool class involved

But they only get more embarrassing as you grow up; I eventually decided a career in TV commercials wasn't for me

That is cool though. Not everyone can say they have been on TV before!

You and I can though. We are special I guess!

Or do they? Because twins know about each other and know to expect to see another person that looks like them.

But what about a person who has no twin or does not know they have a twin?

see - this really is interesting :-)

I say - you do the thread (really - I would just ruin it)

Well, I doubt you would ruin it, but if you are really sure... I guess I could give it a shot.

Thanks.

oh - I'm pretty sure :-)

I'm more of a little fire-starter than a thread-starter

half way through the OP I'd be talking about something completely unrelated that I saw on TV last night - that reminded me of something my Aunt once did at a Halloween party...then I'd wander into the kitchen to make tea and never come back

you get the idea

:-)

Okay. Let's see.
1. I'm a certified scuba diver.
2. I collect gem stones.
3. I'm a (self proclaimed) expert in Russian Literature.
4. I love universities, and had to make myself leave after many years of
study. I could be a student forever.
5. If I could, I would have two each of every breed of dog there is.

6. ATS is ruining my life because the dogs need bathing, the house needs vacumming, the checks need to be written for the bills, and the laundry is piling up. Among other things. I will be glad when I get tired of ATS so I can get back to my responsibilites in a timely way.

Okay, that's six. Whoops.

You can have six. I don't mind
