Why do you know so much about gay pride parades? I live near san francisco and they have them here and I've never seen a gay pride parade at all, I've just never wanted to go, no reason to really.

How do you know so much about what goes on at them?

Why are you so concerned about gays? What have gays done to affect you?

You aren't forced to go to these parades, like I just said I've never seen one single gay pride parade and I live near one of the "gayest" places in all the states lol.

Someone just bought up a really good point: you see MORE male nudity at any beach, just because almost everyone is in only shorts or even speedos. So why not take offense when you go to the beach?

It's because it isn't seeing naked people of the same sex that bothers bigots. Nothing to do with that at all. It's literally JUST your bigotry that causes so much problems, just because you want to look down on gays, for whatever bigoted reason.

What argument could a KKK member present to us that would convince us that black people should be persecuted? None that I can possibly think of, UNLESS you are already a bigot in that regard as well.

It's just bigotry. Plain and simple.

If I could give you 100 stars I would!! I agree 100% I have always felt this way and I have had many heated arguments with people over gays and their rights. I have even lost a couple friends over it. I dont see anything wrong with being gay! I wish people would just stop hating others for their choices. I may not like what some people choose to do but it's their choice not mine and if they are happy then that's all that matters IMO.

I typed nothing wrong, reread my post. It seems to me you homophobes are most likely closet homosexuals, and its been proven countless times. Look at all these conservative christians who get caught meeting guys in hotel rooms all the time and stuff like that.

And can't forget all these filthy catholic priests who molest little boys, something way worst than anything any gay person does.

I myself am married and straight and I make little gay jokes all the time with all my straight friends, because we are confortable with being straight. The only people I see that get offended over gay stuff are usually people who appear to be extremely unconfortable with themselves.

Just last night this little boy (I say this cause he looked about 18 andI am 30) came up to me at the bar trying to be all smooth and I looked him, shook my head and said "uh no," and what did he do?? He wouldnt go away! He hung around until my friend told him to go away and not in a polite way....I just wanted to watch the fight and not be bothered but this kid wouldnt go away.......so you see anyone can be annoying in the dept of hitting on others not just gays!!

Well Roberts, another faboosh thread, thanks for writing it in. I really did enjoy the List of Famous Gays at the bottom, mind you I wonder where they got the evidence for those Popes being gay, but I believe it.

In any case you are right, and I agree, but also there is a fine line between who actually "hates" gays and refuse to give them the same rights they enjoy, and the ones who simply "dislike" gays for whatever reason.

Now either way they're a couple of fries short a happymeal on either side of the fence, but in order to have freedom of speech, we must defend it. I don't agree with the guy who stands outside my Husband's clinic with a Bible and screams Hellspawn, but I will defend his right to say it.

I know it sucks, and that's the beauty of a free society (well somewhat free nowadays) we get to say whatever we want, about any group of people so long as we aren't instilling hate or violence.

There are those in our ranks who hurt us however. The over the top, flamboyant, " I wear Ass-less Chaps" in public kind of gays which I understand that mentality, but it's not appropriate and I don't even want MY children viewing those types of things.

The pride parade use to be something wonderful, and then somewhere along the line it just became a "Let's get naked in the Street" party and now it's lost all of it's meaning.

I hate to say this, but we really need the "real" homosexuals to be at the forefront of this fight, the ones who can intelligently explain themselves and refute the nay sayers who think we are some sort of disease. Those who have been leading the charge, have taken it to a whole other level that's just not necessary.

And then, there's the money. Ahh a wonderful reason why this little bout between straights and queers hasn't been resolved yet. You see, the people at the top, and both sides of this argument, are really just racking in the money. I mean it's unbelieavable what some of these people make in bonuses and what they skim off the top from the donations ofcourse.

If there was ever a movement to reform, it's the gay rights movement. Other than completely changing the way we are presenting ourselves, I don't see an end to this back and forth.

For someone who just typed "I'm not gay" 5 times in two posts, I would suspect that you are gay. It's ok. I don't agree with it, but it's your life.

I really think you need to take a step back and look at what your posting.

Basically most people fall into one of two catergories.

Homosexuality is ok
Homosexuality is wrong

It's obvious where you stand on that.But you seem to be completely intolerant of anyone who thinks different than you do.You have even gone as far as to condone violence towards those people.You have used some very harsh words against people that don't share your viewpoints.

If you want people to accept your views, then you have to be tolerant of theirs.
