Well that was close! You very nearly joined the Dark Side! :-)

People do like to be told what they want to hear. They like to be
listened to and have someone show them some interest and sympathy.

The 'Talking Cure' I think it's call in Psychiatry.

Taking advantage of people who are sick, scared and vulnerable
is just off the scale - the person who I know who does this as
a profession, accepts payment 'by donation', presumably to ease
their conscience.

Ah, not trying to wind you up at all; I simply don't
believe anything of what you just said. Not
a bit of it.

The only thing 'proven' about clair_____s and necrophilia,
I mean necromancy, is that they don't exist at all
and have been in fact confidence tricks for decades.

Almost everybody knows that. Why don't you?

When you say a 'large number' of charlatans, what proportion
do you think? Seventy, eighty, ninety percent? We just
differ a bit on the numbers. I say 100% are fakes or just
a bit sad and delusional.

Think about it for a second; if there was such a thing as
a psychic, could lotteries and casinos exist?

"Psychic wins Lottery! Again!"

Let's just leave it here, shall we? I don't like being talked to like that, and I'm shocked that you think it's ok. I'll hazard a guess that you haven't experience every last thing the world has to offer, and neither have I.....I can comment on what I've experienced, as can you, but the rest is still unknown. You're approaching this at a very simplistic level and I could live without the insults.

Just as I was regaining faith in the quality of discussion here too.....

Yep, except it was a basement and there were no doors to the outside.
Also, it had two arms, two legs, a midsection, and a head. It's legs ran
and it's arms flailed.

Windows? Apparently those lightening balls can come in
through windows - who knows!

It had a shape, most things do, and it looked just like a
person. I bet that you have a good impression of the gender
and age as well. Arms flailing sounds like something you've
just interpreted - why not flying? Or swimming?

Have you decided that it was a ghost of someone who died in
a fire on that location, perhaps years before the
present house was built, and he is flailing his arms in a
panic, reenacting his last dash, he himself in flames?

Or perhaps it was something (perhaps very unusual and rare)
that you saw as a child that has nothing to do with anything
not of this world?

I know what my money would be on. :-)

Yes, there are small windows up high. I still don't believe it though, but you're more than welcome to.

I cannot get an impression of the gender or age as it was not human in any way that I could tell. It was made of light and it emitted light. The arms were doing a windmill motion. My brother got the impression he was on fire but I have since come to a different "theory" that can't be proven. If he was intelligent, I believe he flailed his arms so that I would know he had arms. If he didn't flail his arms I wouldn't know he had arms and thus might interpret him as some non-humanoid form. I have no clue though really.

The only guy that died there was of a heart attack.

That's closer to the truth. My brother was 16 though, I guess I forgot to mention that.

I know what my money would be on. :-)

The ball lightning I'm sure?

Well I don't know, I'm only guessing. Never seen ball lightening
but apparently people have; never seen anything at all that could
not be explained. I'd like to, though! :-)

Interesting that you are toying with the idea of 'it' being from
another dimension, as that is something that Physicists might tell
you is quite possible. That would be truly spooky stuff, but again,
if it exists then it must be a normal thing. Natural, not
supernatural, but new to us.

Anyway, would have been great fun to witness such an event. :-)

Scared the crap out of us!! But I think if it happened again, I would be much more reasonable this time. Like I said, I've got two other witnesses on the internet who seemed to have seen the same thing, descriptions match up quite well, so ball lightening seems unlikely and it was too humanoid. If ball lightning could look like that, well fate really screwed my life up good because I spent most of my life searching for answers. Yes, it's definitely not supernatural, just unexplainable at this point in time. I would gladly donate my brain to science though if somebody could extract my memories some day. I'd love to share it with everyone.

"I'm sorry I must be lost. Forgive my ignorance please but,

Why is it up to anyone to prove anything to you?

I don't understand why you feel that others would want to waste their time trying to convince someone of something when their mind has obviously already been closed for business."

BECAUSE, it seems like it doesn't exist, and if you expect someone to believe it, you should show evidence.
They should, because i'm guessing all people who don't believe in ghosts or unicorns would gladly believe if it was shown to them, but until then, saying "you weren't there" or "science doesn't apply to this phenomena" is stupid and useless. It is bad to close your mind, but even worse to open it and believe everything, its always good to want proof of claims, and when it's not provable, it is supernatural and not science.

Careful! This will only end in tears. The lady who describes
herself as "... necromancer, clairvoyant, enchanted, solitary
witch, reader ..." and who's really into calming meditation,
stormed off insulted and feeling abused when I helpfully
pointed out that she was ... well, a fraud. She should get out
more.

They're not really that into the 'provable' and 'science' bit
so we might not get far along that road. Funny how they are
not all jumping up to display their prowess and impress us all
with what the OP was asking for; just a bit of a demo.

Perhaps look up the top of the page, deny ignorance

"I didn't come here to be insulted!"
"Well where do you normally go?"

Pueblo

So if you lived in Waxahachie, Texas, Bridgepoint Apartments , I thought you would of known this .

Aw sweetie, I didn't storm off feeling abused....you're not that bad!
Yes, you did insult me, but the main reason I don't want to get into this is that it will get all bent out of shape in Republican08's thread, and I really don't want to do that. Your argument is weak and unresearched also, so it's bound to be a fruitless discussion, since you've already reached conclusions with no subject matter knowledge whatsoever. I will discuss anything with anyone, if they remember their manners, especially if we are poles apart in our belief systems. I love a good discussion....unfortunately, yours is limited. Simples!

Well, it looked like you stormed off - you said you
were "shocked" and "insulted". Feeling better now, dear?

We are well into the OPs thread, though, aren't we?
Republican08 asked for you to pop up and
provide a bit of proof, an experiment, to help him make
the whole supernatural bit clearer. He's not closed-
minded, but you are right I probably am. I'm immune
to the raft of superstitions that you and other hippies
dance to. Science, reality, other banal things for me.

A weak and unresearched argument! Ha! You've described
yourself as "... necromancer, clairvoyant, enchanted,
solitary witch, reader ..." How do you go with that?
Do you get out and about among us 'normals' and sort of,
like, mention those little quirks of yours? Do you?

How does it come up in conversation? "By the way, I'm
magical." You either filter out and ignore the filthy
looks, the rolling of the eyes and the embarrassed grins,
or you only mix with the other Space Cadets, to keep
that positive energy flowing in.

What gets my goat is that people like you (and possibly
you - well, you had a 'shop') take money from gullible,
fragile people by telling them lies. Well that is your
business, isn't it?

Anyway, don't worry about me and what I think, why not
get back on topic and make something happen.

Something magical.

(Sorry I've posted so much on this thread - it's just
that it's been so very tempting! :-)

, no rain at all..... maybe the indians can do some fancy rain dances, I mean it wouldn't be to much to ask for!

"No, No, no, it's pivot, step, pivot, pivot! Are you trying to piss the volcano off chris!".....Family guy.

I haven't heard of any indian things around these neck of the woods... Just czech people, and old fashioned cowboys, i'd never thought that riding a john deere tractor on the highway would be a normal thing anywhere, here it's common.

Forget having someone bring you proof. Find it yourself. All you have to is find yourself first. 2 WEEKS is what it will take but no one has the willpower or self control anymore to complete such a feat. Troll the threads that talk about meditation or look up my posts for today. I did 2 posts explaining how to truly be enlightened and one has a better explanation as to why I say do the things you must do. After the 2 weeks are over you will no longer need to ask for proof for anything. Instead people who know you will start asking why you appear to be someone else. Just be prepared to sacrifice. Nothing is free. Once you have accomplished this there will be no more secrets hidden from you. I wish you well my friend and good luck in your new life.

The rainbow video was funny but not as funny as this.....

www.youtube.com...

Anyway you bring up some good points about perception and reality, but peoples lives are all pretty much based on perception, now if someone asked both of us to stand in the middle of a highway we would both say no because the reality is we would both get hit by cars, so while perception makes up most of ones life, so called "reality" is also a part.
