Nothing huge that I can see, just a continuation of all the novel stuff going on already.
Relevant to me is this new Star Sign that's been talked about lately - apparently I have been this star sign all along rather than Sagittarius - very wierd and interesting. In the other thread about it someone has posted about how it relates to 2012 so I thought I'd mention it here.
Another observation: The theme recently seems to be "revealing"/"unveiling" (as I mentioned in my last post) - for example the new star sign, wikileaks, the mass animal die offs - all of these things have happened before/been going on already its just that they were not in the global consciousness. Now they are. There's been a lot of information that's been around for a while that's coming into the public eye (i.e. wikileaks). Interesting and I hope this trend continues.
About that 13th sign of the Zodiac.
It has been around forever, it is NOT a new discovery at all. If we were to include the 13th sign, we would have to follow a different calendar. We would have to have 13, 28 day, months. There are 12 signs and 12 months for a reason. The 13th sign is not included in the precession of the equinoxes. And If it is included, it is much much smaller than the typical 30 degrees of all the other signs. It takes the earth 72 years to travel through 1 degree of precession. There are 360 degrees in the full cycle. Making it a 25,920 year cycilical calendar. Therefor, people cannot be born under the 13th sign of the zodiac, because the earth is never in that sign. However, the 13 month calendar does make much more sense than our current one. As it follows the moon cycle of 28 days long. Instead of 31 or 30 days in each month, tack them into a new month, and you get exactly 13 months in 365 days. If we follow this calendar, we would have much more understanding of our place in the universe.

The calendar you are talking about is actually the Mayan/Aztec/Olmec/American Indian moon calendar. We would all be better off using it. It was the codices of the Mayans that were stolen and taken back to the Vatican for study, at which time they used it to come up with the Gregorian calendar. The math was so complex, that they had to throw in leap year because they couldn't figure out a way to correct for the level of precision in the Mayan moon and Venus calendars.

Interestingly, however, bright comets would actually reflect sunlight as it passed through their own dense clouds of dust and gas. This allowed astronomers to begin determining what comets were actually made of. One of the earliest discoveries was that comets contained cyanogen, a very poisonous gas.
As Halley's Comet approached the sun in 1910, astronomers announced that Earth would actually pass through the tail of this comet during May of that year. They assured everyone that our planet was safe and suggested the possibility of some spectacular sunsets. As we've said at least 3 times in the last 2 pages, yes its not a new discovery but the fact is that its made global news and thus registered in the global consciousness only recently. Personally I'd never heard about it till I saw it in the news but it does have personal significance for me.
You are spot on about the 13 month calendar though and I agree with the rest of your post. Keep in mind its not just the moon that runs on a 28 day cycle - there's other natural cycles that do that too. I don't know what constellation the sun is moving through. But from my understanding of the Zodiac, its not about what the sun is moving through, its about what the earth is moving through, in the precession of the equinoxes. And to my knowledge, the earth does not pass through the 13th sign during its precession. Which is why we only use 12 signs, and 12 months. I also know that a few cycles take 28 days. such as the moon cycle, and the cycle of a womans period. I'm sure there are others I can't remember right now.
And yes, I do believe you are right about ancient knowledge. I believe many things that are being discovered today, are only being re-discovered. I believe there is a lot of ancient knowledge out there that we are going to find out is very signifigant to our understanding of ourselves and the universe. Which really poses the question, was zecharia sitchin right? Have we really done all this before? And you can relate that to timewave as well. According to sitchin, nuclear weapons were first used in the 21 century B.C. He believe that in the 21 century A.D they will be used again. He believed history repeats itself, and that to know the past, is to know the future. He even pinpointed the year in which they were used. 2024. So are we 13 years away from nuclear war?

I think was xweaponx was trying to say, was nothing directly affected him. And nothing directly affected the world in its entirety. A lot of events
may have happened, but nothing that made people stop and stare or say oh my god. That is the kind of change I have been expecting from timewave
whenever one of these so called, huge novelty dips comes around. And that is why so many people come in here saying nothing happened, and debunk this
theory. And in many ways, they are correct. Even if there are many things happening around the world, it's not a moon landing, or a nuclear weapon
going off, or something we haven't seen before. It's just, earthquakes, floods, civil unrest, and the usual crap. The discovery of elenin was
discovered in december. Nasa has made no official annoucement, neither has any other space agency. So for all intents and purposes, elenin, means
nothing at this point. When it starts making msm, that's when it will mean something. So yes, I have to say, that the 17th of january did not seem
very significant to me. Nothing exteme happened, and certainly nothing that entered the global consciousness happened. Most people don't even know
about the australia floods, or any of the floods for that matter. I have talked to several people, most who don't even watch the news. But that's
the point of novelty, if there were to find something out at the same time as everyone else, then that's something to note. But so far, nothing. I
don't know what the means. Either timewave is wrong, or it doesn't just measure novelty. I mean of course Zagari, when you are looking for
something you will find it. I know you've been reading the news, and everything that tells you about current events, so everything you learn, seems,
novel to you. But for those that don't give a damn, the days pass by and they have no clue about any of it. Most people haven't even heard of
timewave. It's the law of attraction, the more you think about it, the more chances it has of coming to you. So timewave, once again, is wrong,
novelty wise at least. All we can do, as always, is wait and see what the future holds.

Well, I have to say personally, and for most of the people around me, a United States Congress woman having an attempted assassination was a pretty novel event for most. It completely occupied the news for the entire week and started to fade away just in the last couple of days, just as the Timewave shows us moving back into "habit" on the 18th. Also worth mentioning is that even people I know who don't watch much news were all over the revolt in Tunisia, because people all over the world are tired of corruption and paused to see what would happen there as a signal of whether or not it is possible to overthrow a corrupt government and recover from it. Not to mention that even those who don't watch news, still use Twitter and Facebook, which was following the events very closely.
You have to kind of total it all up, which is hard and a bit abstract but can be done in a somewhat anecdotal sense. (done all the time with polls) Maybe YOU don't watch much news, and a few people YOU know don't watch it either, but the masses are moved by these events whether you want to believe it or not. During these periods, people's consciousness is focused on these events, not the typical "who is playing football this weekend?" thoughts, which is more indicative of habit, completely opposite of something novel. Just in Tunisia, you're talking about 10 million people alone that were impacted by the revolution, and that doesn't count the surrounding areas impacted. Would you say that a revolt is novel for them? In Brisbane, there is another 2 million people effected by the floods, not counting the immediate surrounding areas also impacted. Here in the US, hundreds of millions of people felt like it was a pretty big "change" from the normal day to day grind to find out a member of Congress was almost assassinated... that's a big deal! You also have the Wikileaks release that started right around the time we dipped down into novelty and brought about the Tunisia revolt and many other changes in embassies around the world, just over the past few weeks. To YOU, these may not seem like novel events, but for me personally, my wife, my friends, some of my family.... we all took notice of these things and followed them more than what would be "normal" or "habit" for us.
Again, what Timewave shows is that these changes are more likely to occur during the downward trends on the graph. Why didn't these events happen during the upward trend? How come all of these more "noticed" events happen during downward trends? Coincidence? I highly doubt it. If the theory is correct, "something" in nature triggers changes in people, their behavior, or other types of things that maybe we don't understand, but that enable big changes to happen more often during these periods, and the changes are usually ones that alter people's views of reality and has a direct association to their consciousness.
If you notice the last couple of days, there really isn't much going on in the world. The Gifford's story has quieted down quite a bit... the flooding stopped in Brisbane... there is a new government forming in Tunisia.... things are going back to "normal", where the big changes that have the ability to completely alter your consciousness or your view of the world, are not as likely to happen and people begin to stop talking and thinking about the novel events that occurred. It doesn't mean that novel events absolutely won't happen on an upward trend, that is not what the Timewave theory says. It means that the frequency and probability is less when novelty trends back up.
It can be very challenging to put things into perspective. I love football, and if the Jets make it into the Superbowl, I could consider that a novel event, but I know it's not. I would have to set aside my personal perspective and look at the whole of consciousness from a step back. There are Superbowls every year, and it's always the two best teams that play, and this is what people have come to expect, so there is not really anything novel about it. Now, if someone dies on the field during the game.... THAT would be novel and would have people all over the country, maybe more, talking about it. I would expect something like that to show a blip on the graph, but not the game itself. This is why it can seem like novelty is speculative, but it's not, it takes dedication, maybe even a bit of philosophical self-debate, to really come to the right conclusion about what is novel and what isn't. It has become increasingly easier for me to recognize novel periods without marking dates on my calendar that match up to Timewave. After I recognize for myself that indeed, there has been some novel events taking place, THEN I will compare to the Timewave.

You said "jan 16th" so you can't add events before jan 16th. Also floods happen all the time. Blame rain / water that is what causes floods. Earthquakes don't surprise me. Earthquakes happen all the time.
A planet that was discovered in 2005 now renamed to "elenin" that's not jan 16th, 2011.....

You do REALIZE how timewavezero fails is simple. News is widely available these days. So any day you predict of novelty you go on the web and read the latest news articles. When timewavezero was made news wasn't as widely available like it is today.
So linking "small" events to something with high novelty means nothing. Again nothing happened. Levels with such high novelty would be an event we would all know. "mass deaths, volcando, etc..."
So what's the next prediction?
