If O'bama is a Muslim,so what!

If O’bama is a Muslim, so what? McCain once said during an interview while campaigning that America is better off with a Christian President rather than a Muslim President in the Oval Office. Even though this nation was founded on Christian principles, this kind of attitude goes against the American tradition of religious pluralism and inclusion.

But what O’bama opponents, those of you that continue to harp on the issue of him being a Muslim and McCain, fail to realize is there is no mention of God, Jesus or Christ in that entirely secular document we call the Constitution.

What is going on here, this fixation with the status of his religion? It has been asked and answered an it bears a striking resemblance to that "are-you-now-or-have-you-ever-been" attitude back in the McCarthy days but instead of Communism, it’s toward Islam and it seems to be seeping into the public dialogue on a daily bases.

Every time I turn around there is some new rumor that is put out for the O’bama haters to feast on; like O’bama won’t salute the flag, took his oath of office on a Quran, belongs to a terror cell and other assorted idiocy, Give it a break.

Race has been the linchpin in American bigotry, until two planes flew into the World Trade Center and now it seemed to have shifted a bit. Proof of this transformation can be seen in the papers and is evident on this board.

O’bama is not a Muslim. We know this because he has told us so, we know it because there is no credible evidence to suggest otherwise. No one has questioned the faith of McCain, why? It’s doesn’t matter if he lost, this has been going on every since the campaign.

Barack, Barry, Tom, Tommy (who ever) O’bama is not a Muslim. But, what if he was? He’s the same guy, same charisma, and same inspirational idealism. He’s the same guy that appeared On Leno. What he is not is a guy prone to strapping bombs to his chest in hopes of meeting virgins in heaven.

The Major won't ask, and doesn't expect to be told whether Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim or not. The Major can assure you there is one thing Barack is not; that would be Irish. It's Obama, not O'bama.

I think this kind of thinking is primitive in religions are all control mechanisms that restrict you from reaching your full potential as a being.

I think this is also a way of deflecting the real question people would like to know : Why did he spend so much money protecting his birth certificate?

Does a secretive president without transparency seem odd? To me it does.

It doesn't matter that he's a Muslim. What matter is that he lied about it. This new man of HOPE is not supposed to tell lies like that, he should of just said, "Hey I am a Muslim."

Instead he said, "I am not a muslim."

Lieing is very unbecoming. And once again he just proves that he is no better than Bush, Regan, Bush Snr. Clinton,.... hell all of them. He's just another polictican... Not a man of HOPE...

Simply because he lied and deceived the American voting public by pretending to be a Christian. That would be the only real "So What" if he was a Muslim.

I mean, he IS pretty extreme, as far as his leftist policies go. Would that make him a Muslim extremist? No? Nothing?

Obama is a wierd one to me.. First his name is a no brainer, Barrack Hussien Obama.. Off name alone he shouldnt have won. Not to sound simple minded, but all this war on Islam, and Saddam Hussien and Osama, now we have a guy name Hussien Obama, and hes blck, crazy.. im all for a black pres, but this guy somehow doesnt seem right. The election was easy.. It came down to Mcain, Hillary and Barrack.. first time in history it came down to a woman or a black man.. what a wild choice to give the people.. of course he'd beat clintons wife then its a run with an old man.. look at the propaganda used just in the visuals.. Mccain looking old with the same tired old stars and stripes.. then you have Obama, with a fresh art campain, with him half white half red, odd naziish looking stuff.. and did anyone take in to account his logo?? perhaps the new american flag, well i wont go that far but take a look at it.. A sort of blue rainbow or sun under it 3 stripes.. what im saying is, he didnt do anything anyone had previously done. they went outside of the box with their imagery so to speak. and everyone is for change, especially after what weve been through.. change, change, change, and wes we can..

anyhow, this guy is going to usher in the NWO with smile and we'll all except it because were to busy and the monster is way to big to deal with. Be real, I listen to alot of talk here, and one things for sure, not one of you is going to do anything about anything. I dont want to sound rude, but really, does anyone here have a plan to deal with the multitude of things that are wrong..

I think at the moment, the only things that need to be talked about, are 1, Are these so called fema camps and death camps real.. 2, is the CDC stockpiling coffins for some reason.. 3, is the military building mass graves..4, what are the intentions of these aerial aerosol operations and are they dengerous to us. All this political hooplah can go on, they control it, let them play their game, unless you have a real plan to change it.

If a hilter type situation is about to go down I think we need to know, and if not, get to the source of who is putting out this information, because frankly it has me thinking about my survival and who I can and cant trust.

Are people about to be rounded up and killed like the nazis did, the only real question that needs to be answered..

I don't care if Obama is Muslim, Baptist, Catholic, a Mayan Shaman. This "is he a Muslim or not, a closet Muslim, etc.", is just silly. Ah, but is he an American Natural Born Citizen. I and many more would like this question put to rest. A copy of the hospital records would be nice. What's that cost? Maybe 25 or 30 dollars to get a copy of the document? I believe Obama is a citizen of the U.S. and was and is eligible to be POTUS. But, what is so difficult in providing this information? Is it a principle Obama is standing for? What? Just freakin' show it. Put all thse rumors to rest so we can move on. I don't want to hear about this crap for 4 or 8 years, like I heard about the SCOTUS gave the presidency to GWB. Sheesh.

No, I think his "leftist" policies are good proof that he is not a Muslim. He's not a Muslim. Period. There is not a single thing he says, does, or thinks that aligns him with Islam. He is a lot better than George W. Bush at addressing them and meeting with them showing a modicum of respect and manages well not to needlessly and brazenly inflame them so as to recruit more terrorists as GWB did. That's a good thing in my book. It's also a good thing that he at least has some understanding of the Islam and the Koran...one hopes he has some understanding of all the world's great religions...and I bet he does.

I bet Barrack doesnt get to hold the Golden Sword of the Saudi's and discuss Stallions with the royalty.. or will he, Bush does..

He did once say "my muslim faith" before being promptly corrected during an interview.

That doesn't help to extinguish the flames.

The simple fact is, nobody will ever know for sure.

What we do know for sure is that he spent alot of time in a muslim country and spent alot of money on lawyers so that his BC in Hawaii stayed private.

Thank you for the correction.

One thing I can say about O’Reilly is that he never (so far) has bought into the fact that Obama is a socialist. What he does think in that Obama is a classic liberal that believes that big government can solve the problems of society, and he wants to redistribute income.

I dont think hes dumb enough to have a religion. I think any apparent worship from him is purely political.

I think he should for no other reason that to put this and other issues to bed. But I don’t think that will do it because he has done so and it still wasn’t good enough.

There is too much speculation and controversy over his religion and citizenship. It is getting crazy, the man could not even keep a promise he made to his wife. They harped on that but made no mention that he is paying for the renovation of the white house out of his own pocket.

this is a good point. i don't think he worships anybody. however he does appear to have admiration, even reverance for islam. the beauty of any religion is that it can legitimize the most outrageous behavior. anything done in the name of worship is acceptable. so far obama has done no more than revere islam. i would be very surprised to see him live by it because that would limit him. he really doesn't like or accept limits. i also get the feeling that his pretense at respecting islam is manipulative, to get middle easterners to trust him while flushing out possible "enemies" who object.

also all religions have rules by which adherents are expected to live. obama doesn't respect rules. they are for other people. he uses rules to manipulate other people but he does not care to libe that way.

it seems clear to me that he is not christian though. he has shown no respect for this religion or its customs. his attendance at Wright's chicago church was for the purpose of political networking and worked very well.

it would appear that obama feels like telling the truth is also one of those silly rules that others expect but to him is not expedient. I don't think he believes it's okay to lie exactly, but that his plans are too big to be constrained by details like "truth". His truth is bigger than than. He pursues his plans and says anything necessary to move them forward.

Are we that bigoted that we actually think that this country is or should be at war with Islam? It isn't Islam that is the enemy people. This is true here. I know MANY Muslims, They are very nice people. Just like there are nice people everywhere, some of you might feel that you are nice people. The Muslims I know are generous, friendly, funny, and warm.

Would you elect a Republican that is a Pagan? Or would that person have to hide it under the guise of being a Christian in order to garner your votes?

Perhaps we do need a Muslim as a president. Why? We are at war with countries that were founded on Muslim values. As this country was founded on Christian values. (IE the Salem Witch Trials.)

So is a politician lying something that the American people should be shocked about? Of course not, we should expect them to lie, it's their job. It's our job as the Citizenry to put the best liar in office we can. You want someone that can negotiate a peace deal? Use a liar. A liar will have your intentions at heart while making the other guy think they are getting something. He has your best interests at heart only cause it's you that get them elected.

People influence them better are the Citizens that have lots and lots of money. Remember they are after all American Politicians, they are in it for the paycheck and the perks. People that hand them a fat check garner more say so when it comes to policy time. It's the American Way after all.

So if the worst that is said about Obama is that he is a Muslim, that has to make the best president in recent history.

Remember you will hear WAY bigger lies out of Obama in the next 4 years. WAY bigger. So if he is lying about his religion. That is going to seem like small potatoes compared to the whoppers he is going to feed the American public over his term.
