Check out the Adam Sandler movie-esque "You can do it" at about 27 secs"

He is the man...

Here he is scoring a goal

That is funny Zazz, thanks for that.

I must admit that for me the biggest turn-off of the world cup is not the refs or the horns, it's the blatant diving that many of the players do.

I appreciate that this happens elsewhere too so it's not just a world cup thing, but for gods sake, don't they feel embarrassed when they do that?

Honestly, i cannot fathom how a grown man can roll around like that pretending he has been hit when he hasn't. Thats the sort of thing my little daughters would do to get the other one into trouble.

I just think for the amount of money they are paid, and the fact that they are putting on a dsiplay of supposedly the best football in the world, they should not be allowed to do this.

Even worse is when they fake an injury, then seconds later are running around fine! :bnghd:

In my ideal world, diving and faking injury would be a red card straight away. Get rid of the embarrassing premadonnas immediately.

Or if you make out an injury is more than what it is, you should have to stand there legs open and take a swift kick to the spuds....that would give them something to roll around about for!

Seriously, how can any man not feel embarrassed when they do this?

Is it just me, or does every one else hope that South Africa absolutely destroy France tonight?

Pathetic Frenchman, complaining and whining at everything, and playing as a bunch of selfish individuals. Hope they get beaten

Go Bafana Bafana!!!

Me too, mainly to shut the French up but also to keep the atmosphere in S.Africa going. I can see it all getting a bit deflated if they were knocked out.

I fear England will be heading the same way tomorrow followed by a long postmortem on the state of English Football. It's all so predictable

Agreed.....i've just seen the footage of the French coach refusing to shake hands with the South African coach......disgusting and now heading for a well deserved flight home.

I hope not

I really hope for the sake of the English fans that they do go through. And hopefully Rooney shuts his mouth this time and takes that aggresion towards scoring

Have faith woody my friend, cometh the hour cometh the man.

We shall prevail!

My only concern is the 1pm start on the lash on a schoolday, good grief, could get messy! lol.

I find playing down Englands chances helps me deal with the emotional trauma involved in watching an England game and in some way playing my own kind of reverse phycology on myself.

If I start believing they will win, they will definitely lose, so if I believe they are going home tomorrow then they may just win. Doesn't make any logical sense but thats what its come down to.

Anyway enjoy the game, lets hope my plan works

We do kick-off at 3pm, but one needs a few livener's before hand to help ease the nerves and lubricate the vocal chords!
