Of course your right. That is a given. I just think its good to point it out from time to time. I look forward to seeing this thread in the Hoax Forum shortly.

This might be my ignorance showing through here, but the guys in those photos don't seem to be wearing US army colours. At least not the khaki coloured BDU's seen on the soldiers in Iraq. Why do they seem to be wearing woodland pattern?

Oh I see, stills taken from some porn movie. Iranian propaganda at it's finest. They could've at least gotten the colours right, maybe they would have fooled people outside Iran as well if they had.

Hate to break it to you guys but these photos are a few years old, and its not the first time someone has tried to push them off as pictures of Americans raping Iraqi women. In fact they are images from a European porno movie.

I think this should go in the hoax forum as well, since it's been pointed out these pics are from porn. They definitely don't look authentic to me.

Even more ridiculous is ppl /posters commenting on SF when they really have no info at all ...oh well maybe some stuff they pull up online .I of course have to laugh at that b/c you never can find REAL Verified info about SF online

Yeah, I think porn producers have the luxury of not having to be too accurate. I can only imagine the plot line that went along with it...i wonder if they went with the funky bassline, lol.

Well I scanned the topic a second time, and I saw one mention of SF practices, which is where the guys are allowed to keep beards etc. Which is to my knowledge totally true. So what was your point again? just trolling?

Its true, they wear beards when in an area where it is customary for males to have beards, like the middle east. Its so they blend into the community a little better.

I guess she feels that since she has SF as part of her screen name she is the only one who can say with any knowledge as to what they do and how they dress.

Why Are U.S. Troops Wearing Dark-Green Camouflage?

Despite the desert conditions of the Iraqi campaign, many American soldiers are sporting deep-green combat fatigues. Why are some troops donning woodland camouflage?

According to published reports, the Pentagon simply goofed by not anticipating the demand for sand-colored desert fatigues, formally known as battle-dress uniforms. When Army and Marine units were preparing for deployment, several discovered that they lacked enough desert BDUs to outfit each soldier with the requisite three outfits. The UPI reports that the Army's 4th Infantry Division, headquartered at Fort Hood, Texas, chose to dress all its troops in the more traditional green fatigues—commonly referred to as woodland BDUs—rather than have only some don desert dress. Homogeneity is generally preferred among military commanders.

Units that departed for the Middle East earlier this year were promised fresh BDUs upon arrival, but shipments have been slow to arrive; support commanders are reporting that they're already out of desert fatigues. The Pentagon's Defense Supply Center in Philadelphia has ordered manufacturers to increase production of desert camouflage at the expense of woodland BDUs.

That a boy go get em.I personally am sick of all the bash the military stuff some of the bravest and honest people i met in the military including a good friend that sacrificed himself to save our squad and me and 4 other are here today because of what he did.

PS unless you have been in the military there is no other job like it it also can have a very heavy cost.People in the military know there pupose is to protect the united states and take pride in there job.You may not agree with what the government does but dont attack the troops there your brothers sisters mothers daughters fathers and sons. There people just like you and as such all the bagage that you deal with in a society is dealt with in the miltary.There is people i met in the military and said hes nuts hes going to hurt somone but you know what met people like that after i got out the military.

Id say 95% of soldiers are proud of there job 5 % hold grudges hate the military whatever. In the end it doesnt matter if an individual does something wrong can you hold the whole group responsible? I was mugged by a black male in Atlanta should i say all blacks steal. Just because you don't believe in war or don't think its just is no reason to attack the people that put there life on the line so you don't have to. This also applies to police fireman and anybody willing to give up there life to protect or defend some one else enuff said!

I am a disabled veteran of the US Army. Here are a few points on these pictures. First off, they would not be wearing ball caps and bandanas. Second, their pant legs would be tucked into their boots or bloused to the outside of their boot. Third, none of them have ANY rank or patches on. And last but not least, THEY WOULD BE WEARING DESERT UNIFORMS AND LIGHT BROWN BOOTS!

And just one quick comment about all the military bashers on this thread... unless you can show respect for the freedom that you have right now, I would not find it wise to make ignorant rediculous comments that just embarass yourself and prove how much you don't know about your own country. Just nod, say thank you, be on your merry way. If not, I suggest you pick up a weapon and get your a$$ out there to get a first class education on the matter. It just makes me sick to know that I did it for YOU, and ............. I'm just going to quit while I'm ahead...
