Photos of US soldiers' alleged rape, sexual abuse in Iraq

www.presstv.ir

Photos obtained by Press TV reveal alleged sexual harassment and rape of Iraqi prisoners at US-run Abu Ghraib detention center by American soldiers.

The alleged pictures illustrate American soldiers raping and sexually harassing Iraqi detainees.

Wayne Madsen, an investigative journalist from Washington, told Press TV that there was a lot to explain with respect to the photos.

The photos are pretty graphic.
In one, an American has his stuff out and he's about to, you know.

Blood all over the place! Pretty wild stuff.

Tons of blood.

Doesn't surprise me, but when you actually see it, then it's pretty crazy.

I wonder if they just did stills, or if they made videos? I thought I heard somewhere they did videos, too? No, problem.. just truthseeking.

That's great and all but I'm pretty sure that not a single one of those is an American soldier. Possibly Russian or Bosnian??

From the very article :

Press TV could not independently confirm the authenticity of the images.

But they know for a fact they show American soldiers abusing Iraqis?

Of course they can't confirm them. They simply "are not" of American soldiers. It's rubbish. Now "are" there actually photos of this kind of abuse? Probably, but these aren't it.

Ok.... So what do you expect when the government lowers its standards to allowing gang bangers, e-cons, foreigners, and anybody with a heart beat into the military.

Those hardly (no pun intended) look like US military uniforms. Especially where these pictures are stationed, by the uniforms, I doubt these are American soldiers!

"That's great and all but I'm pretty sure that not a single one of those is an American soldier. Possibly Russian or Bosnian??"

How do you know? Last I heard the US was the one accused of those photo's, I mean, even our president acknowledged our soldiers were doing this kinda stuff.

I'm not saying your wrong, you could be just as right as anyone else, but if you have inside info I would like to know.

Just incase your were wondering though...

Viewpoint: A chess match: Russia, Iraq and the U.S

The invasion's opponents argue that any attack against Iraq, a Russian ally, will anger Russian leadership. Invasion opponents add that President Putin's anger at Bush's actions is likely to manifest itself in increasing Russian aid to rouge regimes.

When it comes to these photos this is old news, it was widely reported by military officials back in 2004, the "military officials" who were quoted in MSM news reports spoke candidly on what they had seen in the photos, including the rape of a woman, and an Iraqi boy being raped. Those photos were never made public but no less damning were the verbal depictions of what had been seen by those officials. The other photos known as the infamous prisoner abuse photos were release without the rape images.

So why now is this being brought up again?

Do we need to see these pictures to prove that which had already been reported long ago?

Let me help you understand what is really going on here.

The Obama administration is trying to push this to the surface despite the harm it will do. There can be no other reason for this.

This was a way to dig up bones and was a pathetic attempt to throw dirt on the previous administration. The very fact that this administration are seeking to politicize this and other war related issues is completely disgusting, and should display to anyone with a minimum of national pride and patriotism that he and his administration will stop at nothing to score a political point or two.

I think it is about time for our president to go on another world tour and apologize to the world for the transgressions and injustices committed by all Americans.

The actions of a few are the fault of an entire nation, if you are an American you are guilty!

Wake up!

Take the blinders off for a while.

From another post of mine in another thread...

I remember hearing about these allegations in 2004, it was reported by only one MSM news source... After some googling I found the original story here.. (2004)

www.msnbc.msn.com...

Apparently that original report has been edited... This was removed:

Rumsfeld did not describe the photos, but U.S. military officials told NBC News that the unreleased images showed U.S. soldiers severely beating an Iraqi prisoner nearly to death, having sex with a female Iraqi female prisoner and “acting inappropriately with a dead body.” The officials said there was also a videotape, apparently shot by U.S. personnel, showing Iraqi guards raping young boys.

You can find the above quote here:

www.democraticunderground.com...

And other sources quoting that same (unedited) MSNBC report all over the net, all posted in 2004.

Look around and you can find it yourself.

Are you still missing the plot here?

Me being a MOD has nothing to do with my response on this thread. I am responding as a member in this thread

I know, because I have been around the military for many years, know people in all branches. My daughter's father is a member of the military. I have seen all uniforms and those photos are NOT US military uniforms. US military does not wear the green BDUs in the desert. They wear desert BDUs along with desert boots.

KEY WORD: Claiming.

Those are not of US soldiers. Now, the link at the bottom of the famous photos we have all seen ARE US soldiers and they have all been tried and punished. NOTICE the desert BDUs in those photos. All the other photos in the OP and the main page of the link you posted are NOT of US soldiers.

The ones in these photos are not standard issued US military BDUs. And again, US military wears DESERT BDUs - not the green ones - when deployed to the desert. Again, the famous AG photos we have all seen, you can clearly see - desert BDUs.

I do not know who the other people are in uniform in the photos. I do not know other countries standard issued military uniforms.

Anyone who joins the military has psychological problems. You are volunteering to kill people, and there's something wrong right there to begin with.

Even if you are not in the front lines, but work as a technician, etc. you are still pretty psychotic because what you are working on theoretically is being used to track down and kill people.

No one in their right mind joins the military. It's usually the poor people or the brainwashed.

There's no such thing as "fighting for freedom" because that phrase died hundreds of years ago. Today, the military and wars are all about money, nothing more.
