yes you are , as those pictures , which were first published in 2005 , show 2 different styles of uniform and 2 different women

www.jameswickstrom.com...

womensspace.wordpress.com...

now back to the pictures - they were first released on a website called `iraqbabes` in 2004

and that website was a PORN site

www.rense.com...

lets put this to bed - they were porn pics , doesn`t matter about uniform (or iran bashing) because they were staged.

I don't believe any news story like this. I think anyone can be made up to look like any nationality with a costumed soldiers uniform then a picture taken allegedly saying its US soldiers raping POW's. It's all for propaganda anyway.

They look more brown, tan and black with a hint of green to me.
And he is wearing desert boots.

The original fake photo's are fake in my opinion. They look foreign to me and not american.

Here's another soldier in "greens"

I would just like to see a better explanation as to why those pictures are not of our soldiers that's all. There are now 2 photo's i've found in 5 minutes of our soldiers in Abu Ghraib torturing without his DBDU.

So I'll have to say that if your gonna use the uniform arguement try again.

Sometimes it's hard to "prove" the negative

The pictures you are showing, all have the fatigues tucked in the desert boots.
The fake rape photo's when they are wearing pants are all untucked and are wearing black boots.

That's great and all but I'm pretty sure that not a single one of those is an American soldier. Possibly Russian or Bosnian??
My thoughts exacly...Not US issue DCU for the time..Hell from the looks of the boot cuffs they dont even look like old woodland BDU's..

Not american if you ask me..Staged agenda maybe?

No they don't, unless they have a no shaving profile and that is regulated to mostly the black soliders. They get shaving bumps, so they are sometimes allowed 2 or 3 day growth.

You won't sell your lie to the ones who have been in the military.

This is where you will say you were stationed there.

To the poster that posted pics of US Soldiers wearing BDUs in the desert.

When the Iraqi war first started the Desert uniforms were of poor quality and ripped often. The supply had trouble keeping soldiers in DCU's so command allowed BDU's to be worn in its place. The soldier still had to wear the desert boot though. As seen in your picture. Instead of making new DCU's the Army went through its supply and concentrated on producing the ACU which is what we wear now. Those that were deployed got the uniform first and when they were all equiped the rest of us got it.

If you look at the OP's pictures, they may look like our uniform, but they are wearing black leather boots. Which was defianetly not allowed in the desert.

7 out of 8 speacial forces soldiers as mentioned in another post maybe.

Those soldiers were mentioned earlier so I left them out. Regular soldiers don't have beards unless under circumstances as I specified. I don't need to see the movie, I can tell you what it was like though if you want.

How did I know you was going to say that you was or were in the military?

I was just putting a rest to the BDU in the desert conspiracy that has apparently formed from the Abu Grahbi pictures.

Of course it will fall on deaf ears, but the info is now out there. Now if they continue to be ignorant it will be because they don't read.

Stanford experiment
Nazi concentration camps

Those people were not serial killers and murderers. Were "normal " people in peace time. But weak people under the right circumstances can become that. Meaning the stress of fighting, then the freedom to do what they want with the prisoners.

Sometimes just the freedom to do what they want is enough for them to behave as the imature beings they are. Here is an article that explains something more :

oh for crying out loud

WHO CARES !??!

It was just rape and a little murder geez.

We WERE BOMBING CITY BLOCKS just the other day!!!!

Hellooo!!!???

Im sorry but i thinking doing an AIRSTRIKE ON A CITY BLOCK is far worse than a little rape or a single murder. Cuz an Airstrike can kill dozens.

You guys this Abu Rape stuff is nothing more than a distraction from the True Horrors of War!

Pfft rape....I saw city blocks bombed to pieces, thats far worse of a crime yet i see no one cry about that.

Further proof that PressTV is not a legitimate website and is really nothing more than a propaganda arm of the Iranian government. Any one who attempts to present them as a legitimate news source is, quite frankly, either ignorant or dishonest.

If truth is really what we seek, then we should call out posters who post from sources that are known to be non-credible.

This story, as others have said, has been proven to be false. These photos were downloaded from a porn site.

www.guardian.co.uk...

A US newspaper has been forced to apologise after admitting that photographs it published apparently showing US soldiers raping Iraqi women could be fake. The Boston Globe said it had been wrong to publish the photographs, which appeared alongside a story about alleged abuses, because they "were overly graphic and the purported abuse portrayed had not been authenticated". "There was a lapse in judgment and procedures, and we apologise for it," said the editor, Martin Baron.

Yeah! in the book 'Generation kill' written by a embedded Rollig Stone's journalist, which also is a TV serie produced by HBO they clearly state that some of the first soldiers in Iraq 2003 didn't wear the Desert uniforms.

And in the TV serie the Recon Marine Group wondered, who and what kind of genius that had decided that they were going to fight dressed in the old BDU? uniforms in the desert.

Sorry wrong uniform. How many threads on this topic do we need on ATS and why is this not in the Hoax Forum?

Why do people flag a thread based on photo's that are such an obvious Hoax?

Gonna wave the BS flag on this one.

Anyone even check the source? I guess on ATS, presstv.ir is a non-biased source for current news.

So the guys in the pics are wearing BDUs? Check out google and just see how many sites you can order woodland BDUs from. I'm questioning the ghey blue hat the guy in the last pic is wearing.

And besides, what is this; the weekly, "US troops rape prisoners" thread on ATS? Some people need to get a new hobby.

You want my honest best guess on that??

This applies to many topics, not just this one. But my honest best guess as to why it would be done.

It tells them what they want to hear and believe.
