How much is gas where you are at?

i just paid $2.25 for a gal. in san diego.

when i lived in sf we would drive across the bridge and buy it 10 cents cheaper in oakland.

$3.02 in the Virgin Islands. Trade ya!

Cheapest I've found recently is 1.75, which is very hard to find. I'm in the Detroit area of Michigan. Normally though, its above 1.80.

Just thing, a few months ago I found it for 1.54 =\

s.o.r.r.y., your entire island is only 18 miles across or so! it sucks that your ppg is 3.02 but then again, how much can you possibly burn in a day? understand, i'm envious, not attacking you.

The prices down here in my town (cypress, california) were around 3 bucks a gal. a few weeks ago. It's dropped down to about 2.45 or so.

What a deal.

$2.09 in South Fork, Colorado. Not great, but not as bad as some other places.

I worry that we are going to reach a point where we are fondly remembering the "good 'ol days" when gas was under $2.
Hopefully the prices will fall soon.

Before you start b|tching to me, how much more gas is in Great Britian, or any other tax-happy European country. Let me ask, how much per liter, do you pay in excise tax?

Here in Wisconsin, it's the 28 1/2 cents per gallon for the state plus federal which is 18.4 cents per gallon.

28.5 + 18.4 = 46.9

Avg. price of gas (Wis.)/u.s. gallon
- taxes(federal&state)/u.s.gallon

1.94 - .469 = 1.471

Avg. Market Price of Gas in Wisconsin is 1.471 per U.S. Gallon


Maybe everyone should look at their excise taxes, and findout the market price, rather than the ever differences from taxes/fees.

Gas is now $2:08 per gallon in Utah

I am appalleddisgustedthis SHOULD be a crime!!

Its hovering aroud 1.99 to 2.09 up here in Illinois.

Then again we have a 30cent tax on gas because my state is a bloated taxing bastard who saps all the money it can out of anything. I mean 30 cents ontop of the running rate, thats bull#. This state needs to clean up its act.
