So you Americans think you're paying big time for your gasoline...

Just have a look at the fuelprices of Royal Dutch Shell;

www.shell.com... lkost.html

1 litre Euro = Euro 1,25

1 Gallon = 4,5 litre (4,546 to be exact), which makes Euro 5,625/Gallon.

1 Euro = 1,20 American Dollars

1,2 x 5,625 = 6,75 Dollar/Gallon !!!!

Thank God I live near the Belgian border. The prices in Belgium are a little lower. I still have to pay 1,08 Euro/ltr. though.

So better stop driving your big wheels, because those prices will double or even triple in no-time.

When I went to America on holiday I nearly had a heart attack when I saw how cheap the prices were, I wanted to take some home but customs wouldn't let me.

Let's see:
in UK gallons: 1 gallon - 4.54 liters, that makes 3.73$ for gas and 3$ for diesel.
in US gallons: 1 gallon - 3.78 liters, that makes 3.11$ for gas and 2.5$ for diesel.

These are the prices in Romania!!! Pretty expensive, or what??

$1.85 in Syracuse. The Mobil stations seem to want to push this up more but the others are typically 3-5 cents below them.

The Supreme Court is going to rule in favor of the Sierra Club and Bush/Cheney are going to have to post the information about their energy policy decisions. We, the entire world, are going to find out that the Bush doctrine is one of screw the public and get the oil companies rich. Bush is going to be running around trying to fix this mess for a long time to come. Mark my words, it's going to happen. BTW, gas here in Colorado is $1.77 per gal of unleaded regular.

Kind of sad how most Americans have no clue how much gas is elsewhere. Raising prices give them more to complain about. Can you say ignorance.
