Launch seems to have gone off without a hitch so far. Which I think may be good. With all the tensions in the air over this it seems like things may be just fine. Of course it is a little to early to tell.

Yonhap: South Korea says still early to call N. Korea's launch a success, waiting for additional information from United States.

Fox News is quoting unconfirmed reports originating in South Korea that are confirming that what NK launched tonight was not an ICBM but a satellite.

If so, the NK government is laughing at the rest of the world. They did what they said they would do and South Korea, Japan and the US are going to come off as having dramatically over reacted here.

That's a real shockr, considering that is what NK has been saying for a while now. I have to agree with others, that US, Japan and SK are going to come out of this as looking like they overeacted, which they did in my eyes.

But give it a few days and some crap ass report will come out stating that perhaps there was more to this sat. then we know. Just to make people look good

Edit for spelling, as my fingers do not work tonight.

Good for them! Glad their little rocket worked and none of the other kids in the pool smacked it down just because they don't like em.
I am sure lots of people worked really hard to make this happen and it wouldn't be fair to smash their individual dreams because of their nation's policy.
Not saying at all that I agree with their policies, but I still think this has been blown waaaay outta proportion...as usual.

"oooh, be afraid everyone...if you're not afraid, you should be because we'll protect you and don't you forget it...they're after you!"
