and what about the fbi agent that infiltrated the weathermen? he told ayres that he was going to hurt or kill people in the restaurant next to the police station he bombed,and he respoded by saying that in war there is collateral damage. THE KEY WORD HERE IS WAR. HE DECLARED WAR ON THE US OF A!

I doubt he would even know who some of those people were, much less the toothless imbreeders who voted for him and McCain because they didn't know any better.
Suck it up and face it, the better man won.

sarah palin is a borderline psychotic, holy-joe-christian fundamentalist, loo-lah creationist, distressingly ignorant, insular warmonger who thinks USA is at war with Iran, and who has no idea what's going on outside USA. It would have been a catastrophe for USA and for the world if she'd been let anywhere near the white house. For those reasons alone, the only option people had was to vote for the Obama ticket.

while this can go on forever, it seems there is a bigger underlying cause. THE MEDIA!!! Yes this thread about how obama allegedly won the election but all it is crap. Most people base their decisions on what the media produces. Most (NOT ALL) people approach information the media produces without any discretion at all. People don't do any research or homework anymore..which is also a bunch of crap. This video is a prime example of how MEDIA in whatever form is very controlling whether democrat, republican, or third party. It's obvious to me that the government puts whoever they want in the whitehouse. They are controlling the media. They are controlling everything. Under this new administration the government will continue to be larger.

I'm fairly certain if you were to ask the same set of questions to 100,000 Obama and McCain supporters, you'd have near-identical %'s of folks who do know what they are talking about, that have some idea but are not 100% sure, and that are utterly clueless.

I don't even know the point of this drill. Since it was one-sided, I can only guess it's sour-grapes by those who made it.

This thread is ridiculous. Obama got elected because the American electorate had enough of Republican executive administration. The economic issues that happened a month before voting was for most Americans the last straw in deciding who to pick.

You can go around blaming Democrats all day long on why the economy crashed. The fact of the matter is that Republicans held the majority in all branches of government for most of the last eight years and Bush himself supported getting more minorities into having home mortgages. The fact that both Obama and McCain signed onto the bailout destroyed any chance that McCain would be seen as some sort of hero of small government conservatism that so many people claimed was the hallmark of Republicans/conservatism. Which as we've seen since Bush took office is clearly not the case.

McCain lost because he was no different than an unpopular president at the time of yet another disaster that happened during a Republican administration's term.

You're kidding right? Do you know when Bill Ayers was doing his activism? During the Vietnam war! Oh and none of your # you said you have proven. Nothing. No citations of it. Prove it you're full of #. And if you would go on Youtube and look for Bill Ayers on "Good Morning America" he has said that he doesn't know Obama and knows him as much as you do. People still believe that we really have a choice? This all predetermined to give the idea of freedom. I found it odd that the republicans gave us 2 terrible representatives from their party. I almost think it was handicapped from the start.

If anyone believes we still have a choice after back to back Bush wins is blind. They are playing the public like a fiddle. One day we are going to just accept anything because we have become jellyfish.

I will counter this thread by claiming that those who voted for Obama are the more educated ones in society. In my school, most of the individuals are very gifted and have a decent amount of money, and you know what? They all voted for Obama because they knew that Obama will be the best choice and the present and future is more important than the past.

I voted for McCain at the last minute at the polls and didn't really know what I was doing.

Elected by people who were gullable to the rants and raves repeated again and again by every other candidate before him, yet no one really paid any attention at all to what was being said again and again, just overwhelmed by the lights, glitter and glamour and smiles on the boob tube.
