Interesting - is the 'no videos' rule new for this tournament? I haven't seen that before.

I suppose it avoids the problem of having something like: "please watch this 5-minute vlog of me berating and ridiculing my opponent's argument."

After all, that's what FCP is for.

It can be really difficult. When that was my job, there were times when it crossed my mind that I could just change a debate topic to something easier to play off of.

OMG! I really TRIED to read and study Shakespeare, it was too hard and I just couldn't. I know somewhere I have heard of the school of thought that he was not always the author of his work, but where? I did not believe it and so never looked any further.

True, lets just hope I am the favorite in this tournament like last night!

I did have a ball, but I was horrible at karaoke. Luckily they were not asking my voice to dance...

As for pool? Well lets just say its been a while.

I am so excited for all the debates, but I'm especially interested in this one:

I love my topic, too. But that might be the closest to my heart of all the topics this round.
