Hey - Welcome - I have only done one debate - after deciding to put a toe into it, without EVER doing any debates before in my life either.

So, I know how you feel, but I have gotten over my fear, except, I still have that "urge" to chicken out of the tourn, since there are amazing and unbelievable debaters here, that I can't hold a candle too!


I was actually chickening out, after reading some debates - but MemoryShock, convinced me to stick around and do a challenge before the tourn.

So, if I can do it, ANYONE can do it!!

Between debates it's a great place to banter, joke, rant, and just generally hang out, and during debates and tournaments it's the best front row seats in the house with backstage passes and access to the players.

Everyone here is really nice, friendly (except SchroDog, but he's had his shots and doesn't bite often so we just put up with him), funny, and supportive.

Anyway, I'm really glad to see you here, and as soon as I get beat out of the tournament I'd be delighted to debate you and will even let you pick a topic and your side.

dog school seems to work wonder meanwhile heike, so hopefully our puppy will learn how to behave or at least we will get used to it!
