I saw you posted your opening already. Fast work.

If it helps with the laptop situation, I'm a slow worker so probably won't have a response up until tomorrow nightish (Eastern Time Zone)

I really like the topic of this debate!

I always love to think about stuff like if the media is making public trials unfair and things like that.

I like to think about these kinds of things... they interest me.

Wouldn't call myself seasoned.....my first debate is still up in the air.

....not so subtle question buried in there somewhere....

I have to thankyou guys for giving me the position you have on this subject, wow from what I have learned already, I am on the right side of the coin, now to put together in such a manner that it is convincing to anyone who reads the evidence.

Just some behind the scenes info for all our newer fighters. In the debate tournaments topics and positions are assigned completely randomly. That is to say that once the topics are decided, who gets what topic is the luck of the draw, and pro/con positions are decided via a coin flip.

This ensures moderator impartiality and puts all fighters on equal footing so to speak. Thus sometimes we get topics and sides we agree with and sometimes we don't. But Shock and Semper do not go around analyzing posting histories in order to match up fighters to topics and sides.
