If anyone cares, I'm over here in the corner sulking, feeling neglected, rejected, and ignored.

Still no judgment on my video game debate. SDog totally ignored my entire post and the avatar I made for him (yeah, it was sort of a joke but I at least expected a response). No word from Nyk537 so I guess that debate is in the toilet. And no word on the mystery topic debate.

Congrats ADB, that was really close. In fact I personally expected it to go the other way. But then again, perhaps I'm too biased to judge objectively, as I personally think augmentation is a huge waste of money and a surrender to men objectifying the female body and basing the value of a human being on a set of measurements.

And I refuse to congratulate you, SDog, because I'm mad at you for ignoring me. Yep, I'm a [insert word for breeding female dog here] sometimes. Trust me, I've earned the right.

We can start tommorow 3pm your time. That would be 9 pm my time (Europe). Im currently OK with staying awake until about 3 in the morning, so that should work out.

TWISI, that was a tough one and I had no idea which way it would go. We got our boob debate and thank god it's behind us

@Heike - you should have heard me cursing when we got the side assignments for the debate. I was supposed to be arguing anti-enhancement in TWISI and my original formulation. I was ready to string semper up for not only giving me the wrong side, but making me prove that augmentation is NECESSARY for female empowerment I spent hours swearing, until I realized that I could get behind the idea that having the option is necessary.

OK. "ATS has become too mainstream". Semperfortis will be arguing the pro position, Skyfloating will be arguing the Con-Position.

Posting must be done within 1 hour of the last post with the exception of sleeping-hours for Skyfloating ánd Working-Hours for semperfortis. These are defined as follows:

Sky Sleeping Hours: 9pm-6am (3am-12am my time)
Semper Working Hours: 9am-6pm (6am-3pm my time)

If we're quick we'll be able to finish within 2 evenings.


This means your hours between 6pm and 9pm are the debating hours.

Each player may use one 30 minute extension, if needed.


Alternative Option: Weekend

Wouldn't it be simpler to do this on a day that neither of you are working?
That way you guys can hammer it out in one day, which seems to be more in the spirit of the one hour speed debate.

Yes. I was a little surprised by Vagabond's departure from case-building in the last reply, focusing solely on Socratic Questions. MemoryShock certainly seems to have built up some intertia; I'm eagerly awaiting the next reply.

Epic indeed. I wonder if either of them will be able to stand after the sixth (!) round.
