Are you being sarcastic or do you really think this guy is some kind of "uniter". He's a typical big government socialist who just happens to have a disturbing cult of personality building around him. He's got no experience. He's naiive. His policy ideas are whacky (which explains why so few of his supporters know much about his stand on issues).... Above all, the man is clearly unelectable in a general election and will be trounced by a man who has no business winning this election.

Only the divisive, racist Democrat party would view a man as a uniter in the same breath as they'd claim he now "has" another entire racial group. As if we should view people as uniform members of a race rather than individuals with unique views and experiences.

And with that said, what good is the Native American vote anyway? Their population is so miniscule that I'm surprised he's even bothering to pander to them. Shouldn't he be courting the Hispanics?

One more thought...
I hope he gets in. Reason being... I hope everyone remembers this 'change' rubbish - and will come to realise it doesn't matter who you vote, it's all the same.

Maybe _that_ is what's needed to make people wake up in a big way?

So far Wutone, you have likened him to Hitler and said he is controlled by the media? Is this the "dirt" you are referring to? Really? Ever consider speech writing for the far right wing? I am sure Karl Rove can get you a job. These threads really bring out the wacko's. I don't mind criticism of Obama, he deserves scrutinty if he is going to run for office, but why not make logical arguments? Like I said, maybe you should be working as an idea man for the failed, soon to be gone (woohoo!), Bush regime.

I read the article, and still feel obligated to post this. It is also important to say that the general election race has yet to really begin, and for Obama's plans on change, I see this fact sheet I posted as a good start.

I guess it is getting old hearing people say he has no real plans. He is a smart man, unlike BUSH or MCCAIN, and it would truthfully be better to roll the dice with optimism, rather than remain complacent with deterioration of our country by greedy corporate fascists.

I get why republicans don't like him. I get why Israel doesn't like him. I get why most of the pompous white world doesn't like him. However, the people are tired of Republicans, Israel, and pompous white people.

AAC,

If Barack Obama abandons Israel it will prove everything we've said so far.

Whether or not Obama becomes the next President or not is truly beside the point. I think regardless of who gets in there, that individual will probably do more for this Country than Bush has. One can write books on his mistakes. At least Obama gave the Indians time of day. (At least to the Crows of all people - - I say this because aren't they the proverbial kiss butts to the white man?) There are seven Reservations with numerous bands of Indians in Montana and none of them really like the crows, other than themselves.)

As for McCain(who comes from Arizona), he probably seen enough Indians(Navajos, Apache's, Hopi's - you name it) in his lifetime and actually know he doesn't need their vote. Hell, with all the Indian Casinos in Arizona making money off non-Indians; he probably doesn't want their votes. I'm sure he will still take their campaign contributions, no doubt there.

Finally, Hillary (Swillary in other posts) and her husband had their chance in the 90's. She should just concede rather than hypothetically split the Democratic party. As for Former President Clinton getting into all kinds of headaches with those other women prior to and during his Presidency; one can argue Hillary was half to blame for this.

As for the 'Antichrist' deal? How many people even go to church anymore to even know who the hell this person is supposed to be? But then again, they say the Devil's greatest trick was convincing the world he does not exist. Then again, how the hell do I know? Ultimately, what does any of it matter?

The tone of the original post reguarding Native Americans seems to fit right in with the theme of the murals over at DIA. Did anyone else notice that?

Denver Airport? I did a thead on that recently. Crazy stuff!

ON TOPIC - Guys .. Obama is getting the Native American vote .. but what has he done except make speeches? AGAIN, I give you the thread about John McCain and the Native American Indians.

Again -
www.abovetopsecret.com...

With the exception of Peabody Oil ... McCain HAS done and CONTINUES TO DO good things for the Native American Indians in this country.

You have got to be kidding? Bush has degrees from both Harvard AND Yale. I don't know ANY UN-intelligent people that could do that. As for McCain he graduated from the Naval Acadamy another tough school to get in. You have to have an extremely high GPA, be an excellent athelet and, the graduates have degrees in science and engineering. In my opinion his education and tenacity far out weights the other two. Your statement insinuating they aren't intelligent has no validity.
Sorry.

Ouch the personal attacks, and no I haven't got any faxes yet from Karl Rove offering me a position. If he can I'll clean the hell out of the republican party so maybe I should send my resume eh?

Instead of attacking my person, why don't you attack my opinion and tell me how Obama's public campaign isn't like Hitler's. Why don't you tell me how I am wrong in accusing the media and the Obama campaign as trying to paint Barack Obama as some sort of messiah. I have used facts and actual quotes to underline my opinion, why don't you use facts to underline yours. Or is the only defense just another "YOU MUST WORK FOR THE RIGHT WING because I can't come up with anything else" way of defending your side?

But doing good things is nothing compared to being the messiah. Cult personas will always trump facts when people think with their emotions instead of their brains.

Just wondering why anyone thinks that the Indian Nations care one way or the other who will be elected. This land was taken by force and thousands upon thousands of men, women, children and elderly people were slaughtered.

In the end the Indian Nations will need no help from anyone. The Nations are ready for whatever becomes. Are all of you. We have our leaders, you worry about yours we will worry about ours.

I never said "you must work for the right wing", but accuracy doesn't seem to be your strong suit. I said you should work for far right wing. You posted qoutes and opinion, I don't recall you posting any facts that support your ravings as you claimed. I am not sure what facts you want me to present to disprove your craziness...let's see ...you say he has charisma and is popular, so he must be Hitler..well your right, that's hard to disprove. Popular politicians like JFK must have all been versions of Hitler. The media reports favorably about him...like the whole reverend wright thing...so he must be controlled by the media...hmmm, I will have to gather facts and work on a counter argument for that one. If the media covers someone favorably that person must be controlled by the media. Actually now that I think of the time I have wasted on this I changed my mind. What a mess we are in as a country because of mindsets like yours.
I hope you find a better world inside your head then the one you have apparently have contrived.

Your choice of words gives away your bias. I would say the man APPEALS to people's hopes because he has the ability to inspire them and lead them toward a change from years of domination by the neocons and movement conservatives. It's true that Obama's positions are similar to those of other progressives, but that is the direction in which the American people want to go. That is the change they are looking for. That and Obama's ability to cross partisan divides and work with many kinds of people.

His ability to relate to many people is not something insidious; it's a talent that is much to be desired in a president.

What change? He's corrupt. He lies. He is a racist. He is sexist. He has an empty resume. He voted 'present' 130 times in the state senate (how can you change anything if all you do is vote 'present'). He isn't change. He's just more of the same but wrapped up with a different bow.

Oh ... and he does not cross partisan divides.
John McCain does. Obama doesn't.

(and no, I'm not voting for John McCain. I'm just stating the facts)

Oh because an African American president shows promise (that isn't saying much when it comes to the US), he is now the Antichrist? You gotta be kidding me. That's pretty pathetic to assume. Also...Ron Paul as a true candidate? That's pretty comical too!

Let's take a look!...........

Dubya:
2.6 GPA ---Yale student.
History major. 2.6 GPA ---Harvard business student.

Runs every business he touches into the griound; gets bailed out by friends and family. After two tries to get into politics (during which his opponents successfully portrayed him as out of touch with common men) he gets what amounts to a figurehead position in Texas, where his greatest achievement becomes the record number of executions he signs off on.

Obama:
3.8 GPA ---Columbia Poly Sci major with a specialty in international relations.
Harvard Law, 4.0 GPA---with high honors.

6 years of trial experience working for low income people. 11 years as an instructor in Constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School. 8 years as an Illinois State Senator, and 3 years as a United States Senator.

And what about Mccain?

McCain graduated #594 out of 599 Cadets in his class.

The Naval Academy is a very exclusive school, a only permitted with Congressional Appointment, just like about 200 others each year (each Senator gets to appoint 2 people to each class).

To get in you need excellent grades and test scores - or you need to know somebody.

So I repeat, Bush & Mccain are boneheads that are products nepotism and cronyism, and just because you are enrolled under "legacy terms" doesn't mean you're not and idiot.

And I hope the person that starred your reply is better informed now.

Why is that?

Also, remember, Jesus was vilified by the majority up until the point of his murder. Come to think of it, most great men are mainly understood/respected Posthumanously.
