The latest image shows a red shift on the Earthside facing away from the sun idicating increased pressure. Whay is amazing though is the lack of lines of force in that area. They are sqeezed closer to the Earth

Sorry for the earlier post hehe. Needed some humor.

Maybe someone can read the following link and explain what "pressure" means:

I have been following this thread for a few days now, and reading it has been scary and informative. I'm not really a doom and gloom kinda girl but my mind always runs with the what if... ya know?

anyway.... for some reason... I have this song stuck in my head.. and it's REALLY annoying me!!

Were leaving together,
But still its farewell
And maybe well come back,
To earth, who can tell?
I guess there is no one to blame
Were leaving ground
Will things ever be the same again?

Its the final countdown...

anyway...
how much longer til it goes away?

I like this one better:

C'mon pack your bags
Clear the floor.
Let's step out through the open door.
Leave a note that says goodbye.

Build a new house
Down by the sea.
Get to the place we were meant to be.
You'll know it when you smile.

Up at the window.
Search in the sky.
Looking for the rainbow,
And don't ask why.
I wanna see the rainbow come.

Hey!
We'll be leaving on all sides, ohohh!
When the rainbow comes.

Mr. Postman look and see
If there's a message in your bag for me.
Could be a bomb or it could be a letter.
It don't matter it can only get better.
Mr. Postman look and see
If there's a message in your bag for me.
You know it's been such a long long time
Since I could laugh at this world of mine.

Slippin' & slidin' around in your head.
It's be-bop-a-lula then baby you're dead.
So c'mon make a bright new day.
I need a prayer here.
Need a blessing.
Cast an eye back as you run.
Turn around boy!
See the rainbow come.

Hey!
You'll be leaving on all sides
When the rainbow comes.
See the world from all sides
When the rainbow comes.

Just did the simulation of asteroid on nasa page. Here is the image:

i24.photobucket.com...

AU is .0039
1 AU = 149,597,870.691 kilometers

That means it will be ~583430 kilometers away from the Earth.

nice little song from scorpions to make everybody feel a wee better

Humanity
Auf wiedersehen it's time to say goodbye
The party's over as the last good dies and angel cries

Humanity,
It's au revoir to your insanity
You sold your soul to feed your melodies, your fantasies and lies

You are a drop in the rain,
Just a number not a name
You won't see it
You don't believe it
At the end of the day
You are a needle in the hay
You signed and sealed it
And now you gotta deal with it

Humanity humanity
Good bye

Be on your way
Adios amigo
There's a price to pay
For all the idiotistic games you played
The world you made is gone

You are a drop in the rain,
Just a number not a name
You won't see it
You don't believe it
At the end of the day
You are a needle in the hay
You signed and sealed it
And now you gotta deal with it

Humanity humanity
Good bye

In your eyes
I'm staring at the end of time
Nothing can change us
No one can save us from ourselves

You are a drop in the rain,
Just a number not a name
You won't see it
You don't believe it
At the end of the day
You are a needle in the hay
You signed and sealed it
And now you gotta deal with it

Humanity humanity
Good bye

where did you find out that a small asteroid passed on the 13th?

I'm watching George W. and the asteroid...one crashing to earth...the other skimming the surface.

No Child Left Behind...W wants to help out the faith-based schools now over our particularly struggling public schools (paraphrasing). Maybe those bright future students can create a website for NASA that interprets asteroid data so that the population of the world can understand it.

Peace.
