I'm not attempting to spread fear and panic with this thread. I just know that the ATS community is very, very tuned in to what is happening in the world in general, and was probing to see how others were feeling these days.

What do you see specifically? I'm not much of an expert in that particular realm. We sure need some revolutionary new ideas to fix what is wrong with the "system" that is for sure.

Yep, ammo is a liquid asset that has the potential to skyrocket in price. You can trade it for a plethora of other things, including food, and it can keep you alive and well fed in and of itself.

Where are you from Bluess? I don't feel forced to stock up on guns, and or ammo, it is just a prudent thing to do. Many Americans do not own guns, and there are believe it or not places in American where they are illegal. I might add that Washington D.C. is one of those, and it has possibly the highest crime rate in this country.

Yes, I get that feeling also. That is all it would take, is for Americans to figure out how incredibly rigged everything is. People are content, and apathetic toward politics.

Yea, pretty cool unless it turns out to be some sort of premonition.

I have in my life had some wacked out dreams about disasters, usually after I watch on of those movies where an asteroid is coming to kill us all.


Lately I have been having strange dreams, but no disaster dreams. Just very very odd indescribable dreams, but then again most dreams are out there.

Tomorrow is not the end of the world.

You might be a little paranoid, but that doesn't mean nothing is going to happen! Being prepared is never a bad idea, unless you get so paranoid you go nuts I also often think about these things, and had an idea about being prepared. I was going to spend a lot of money looking for a fairly remote area, the more tropical the better. I want to spend a few years setting it up, planting gardens, building shelter, stocking canned goods, a lifetime supply of matches.. Anything I can think of. First aid kit.. and then just move. Kind of like the movie Cast Away but I am prepared and planned on being out there. Sounds great doesn't it? Until a storm blows away my crops, but I will have also brought a ton of seeds, and canned foods. A boat. a gun for blowing my brains out if I get stranded and there is no hope. Who's in?

This was more of an idea of getting away from this life than being prepared for Y2k or war terror.

Sometimes these feelings of dread have a specific " to me-ness" about them that we project outward. Say a prayer, spend time with family and friends, do something you enjoy. See if you feel different.

Ya, I got a bad feeling also. I just do not know everything. I bought ten seasons of StarGate SG-1 on DVD and I have about 8940 minutes of spacealiens attacking this Planet and humans only surviving by the hair of their teeth and by luck sometimes. I also assume that the Ori are coming from another Galaxy to destroy all those who do not believe and destroy the Evil Ones, meaning us, I guess and other life in this Galaxy. Well, despite that, the weather will go on, the job may go on, and I may end up on the road again like Sunday when everyone in this Country seemed to be out shopping for something with all the traffic and the approaching Holiday or days, depending on how many people get all those Holidays. I also assume that less people are playing this game and not really hooked up with a red modem to actually play the rest of the world, in which case there probably would be enough people able to play this game, and especially all the negative talk and News which one should disable for a couple of days, at least just to relieve ones self of all this negative talk that keeps coming out most of the time.

I do not actually talk to anyone in Europe unless they post here, and I have not really looked into learning Chinese or for websites over there in China although I do know that some people have and hope to make a lot of money or get noticed over there.

I still have Christmas cards to send out and it is rapidly approaching this Holiday people get off for, and all of this during the darkest part of the year with the least time of daylight, while humans really do not know exactly what year it is, and really only can ascertain that Jesus Christ was probably conceived on Dec. 25, but actually born around Sept. 11, somewhere between -3 to -6 B.C. according to Chinese Astronomical Calendars kept way back a couple of thousand years ago, because Western Civilization usually has some war that destroys records and now it wants in a sense to infect this entire World.

So, back to the TV show like SG-1 in which the Ori are destroying all of this in this Galaxy. Just seems right for some reason, but then I really do not know the end, nor do I actually think the Ori are here in this Galaxy, but heck, how would any of us know?

Well, heck why worry about any of it, as long as someone can post on the Internet and bring up about whatever that person wants to bring up and end up calling it a "bad feeling"?

I just plan to be boring next year for a New Years Eve Resolution and that will be that.

My statement went into a direction I did not intend and I apologize. To clarify, I was paraphrasing.

I speak of a good majority of American citizens asleep and unaware of events unfolding outside their personal space. All people who believe the media. I speak of those who are so willing to give up freedom for security. Not to forget those who refuse to hear the truth and adamantly deny the foundation of our country is crumbling. How can one not see that our system of government does not function for the people? I feel an undercurrent movement toward martial law.

I am unable to reach my family, friends or next door neighbors insofar as taking steps necessary to pierce the veil. I see what is happening around the world and I came to ATS for direction.

So you might understand me a little better, please read my post “Gathering list of underground facilities in us” thread classified under Area 51.

I have found reading member post, threads, likes and dislikes, etc, I have a better understanding of what is being said by that member. I feel it important to listen to what a member has to say.

Too many type I & II errors! All humor aside, that intuitive thought has been shown to be significant, although I vision it sort of as a casino roulette table with the ot and double ot on the wheel. What do I see? Several things. Excluding all my strange dreams and visions, perhaps the most important predictions I had this year, that I'am still awaiting to being fulfilled, are the Russia - China alliance, and also my vision of Barack Obama winning the 2008 elections - which actually occured during a dream I had some time ago already. I also suspect that Benedict XVI might die, or be killed very soon, but I'am mainly worried right now about the situation in the middle east, it's not very pleasing to watch it's current development. Russia's political situation is also very worrying lately, concerning the "American shield in central Europe".

I feel sorry for you, that you live in a country where you feel forced to stock up guns and ammonition to feel safe. If that is what you call freedom...I am glad, I live across the waters.

Amuse is what most governments and their facilitators use to keep people on their treadmill..including public education. Its is up to us to thinik around it ..and therefore act and conduct ourselves around this nonsense.

Options is what this is about...options under changing circumstances. The people in New Orleans found out how good it was to count on the government for Options. IT would be no different here.

I concern myself more with two different kinds of scenerios.. a natural disaster..and economic collapse.

Economic collapse is the one which concerns me the most Our dollar is going into the tank very quickly. Some of us saw this coming some 20 years ago. It is accelerating quickly now.

As a record of history when a money system collapses...there is always a change of Government. Very very seldom is there a change of government where the government is friendly to the people...but only looks out for the government. Which type of government do we have here today?? I say this no matter what party is in power. IT is not a matter of political party..but a matter of government spending.

Also...I am not impressed with what is happening in Europe. Ive been there. France has huge problems which are not often brought into the news formats here. England is in the same boat as France. Germany the same. Spain the same. Europe like America is being overun by foreigners in certain countrys and with this pheonmonon the attendant problems.
Soon enough ..Europe just like America will no longer be Europe.

I am not impressed with European standards and beliefs. While I do believe in some arenas Europeans make better cars, better foods etc etc...I dont believe in it enough to move there. Sorry Bluess..you will have to sell that to someone who has not been outside of America.

There is nothing wrong..ever...with being prepared or planning ahead. This is just another facet of looking out for ones self and family. Being a good shepard of your flock so to speak.

IF you are planning on Government doing the sheparding for you ..you are going to be severely dissappointed.
