I don't know Mr. Leer, If Mars was habitable, then why would it shine orange in the sky? Most habitable worlds to human compatibility shine blue of some sort due to water, O2, and various other factors. Not to mention, I don't see why they would keep it from us. If we made it threw the computer age and the cold war, I think we could make it threw learning about aliens.

I haven't had a chance to go through all the pics to see if any of the "don't ask how I got them" pics are there and i'm not sure if the quality is the same. This will make or break this thread if there is any difference in photo quality unless there is another site that hosts NASA pics.

This makes the photo you posted looked cropped to me. Please let me know if i'm wrong since it looks like you cut out the NASA photo marking at the bottom to make it look different. I think one of the mods already said this but you shot them down for some reason.

The only way that i'll agree that the pics you posted are real is if you can post them in a format that show a higher image quality then the ones on the NASA site. Since the one I mention above already proves that you or someone else cropped a NASA photo what am I supposed to believe?

I don't know if video and pics share the same tech, but I was watching and documentary a couple of months ago in the Discovery Channel, the doc was in HD and it was jaw dropping, just like this picture.

If I recall corectly the documentary was about how they were bringing this new HD technology to space and how is going to help them in some way or how it was going to bring to peoples homes a more accurate view of space, something along those lines.

As soon as I saw the pics, I thought about the documentary that I saw, but apparently no one else has seen it here.

Yes, Yes, Yes, the first thing I noticed while looking at the clarity of the pictures is how much it resembles my HDTV and its quality when seen on real HD programing.

Take a flashlight and put it next to your eyes in the night, that's why. Not to mention, you are in plain view of the sun. The dark side of Earth is probably better.

Although, you never do see the moon in any of these things.
