Explosion in midtown Manhattan

are there any noxious gases down there? Its really humid today thats for sure, so all that steam being released must not be so great either.

I hate Con Edison.

I know someone that's a janitor in one of the buildings there and told me he was cleaning some bathroom at the moment it happened and had thought it was some sort of bomb that went off so he ran down three flights of stairs to the basement level to use as some sort of cover if the building was to collapse. He was sweatin' bullets thinkin' some terrorist attack occured, thank God he's alright and nobody got killed over this steam combustion or whatever it was that occured.
