After listening to the audio, it sounded to me like a kid trying to be scary, kinda like everyone did growing up with prank phone calls. I too am very skeptical about things like this and leaned towards a friend playing a joke on his friends, but the more I read into it and become more involved in researching it, the more I'm starting to believe.

Time will tell whats really going on, I won't stop until I find a bottom to this.

The camera was dropped when the picture was taken , it was a digital camera. The area it was taken in was my friends girlfriend's backyard by her pool. She was running home and as she jumped the fence she dropped the cam and it took the pic. They live fairly close to eachother , i thought this might be evidence or a camera glitch. Didnt really want to rule it out.

We dont have any enemies that i know of but i'll definately dig into that and consider it a possibility.

We all grew up together in this town , i guess thats why we're all friends. Im pretty sure none of them would pull this off though plus none of them have every phone number that was called.

where is the real proof
to me this is bs, how old are you?
you think some creature is leaving messages on your phone
if this is real which i dont you must of been able to capture some good evidence
so where is the proof you must have something
and if this really happened i would have cops the news all invovled
imagine the headlines lol
and believe me i believe in a lot of things but they must have enough evidence to believe which your story does not

honestly . how many people are going to ask me for proof when i already posted the links to 2 recordings? My friend's mom would put a bullet hole right between my eyes if i called the police and they showed up at my friends house , think about it.

One thing that troubles me is your buddy that I quoted up there, powerlineskidz...
what troubles me in specific is his being adept with Goldwave...this trhew up a red flag to me immediately whereby you have stated that you have posted 2 links which you use to verify whats been happening up to this point.

That being said, if you're so close to this powerlinekidz, reasonably he could, and I underline that simply because it could also NOT be so, have easily altered the audio clips you provided from a real voice, to the one which you provided.

Yet, with all of that advanced audio technological knowhow in your corner, it never once occured to them OR you that perhaps some visual representation (up to this point) may be a good idea?


Also, with it being one month away from Halloween, this makes it all that more suspicious. Now, as another poster mentioned, I too believe in a LOT of things, and at this point, a video testimonial from the alleged people that this is allegedly happening to is only marginally of value.


Obviously whatever it is that is 'stalking' them is discernable by the human eye, making it not unreasonable that if the frequency of it happening such that it scares them enough, clearly they should have no trouble in presenting either video footage, or a picture clip of this leaping man.

I dont mean to belittle your story or you or powerlinekidz for that matter, I'm just pointing out some of the things that make this story incredibly tough to digest

Alphabetaone , you do make some good points but the only thing i can do is ask you to take my word for it that the clips were not altered in such a way that a human voice was made to sound strange . The clips i uploaded were the originals and the ones that havent touched powerlinekidz' computer. I sent them to him so he could analyze them and try to decide if it was in fact a human. I'm 21 years old , i dont have time to make up crazy stories and get people on the internet shaken up. It's seriously not my thing. I'm just a man looking for answers and of course i will try to capture this being or capture these beings on camera. Until then ill just have to ask you to please take my word for it. I was once in your shoes and skeptical of this whole situation , then i got mixed up in it.

I'm very far from skilled with Goldwave, I'm a musician so I know complete basics about the eq settings, which is mainly what I messed with, and then just pretended to know what I was doing and messed with the smooth effect. But that was a good suggestion, but it fell a bit short from the truth. I realize how hard it is to get respect here on a level of providing evidence, its all based on someones word. If you don't take my word for it, find a computer specialist and look at the coding in the mp3, that would tell you it was different computers.

That isn't proof, its evidence - pieces of information which help build a better view of the whole thing.
And evidence which sounds like a guy putting on a voice at that. Why don't you lure it out and take a pic? Or do the thing which anyone who was genuinely scared would do....

If you are really scared call the police. They are paid for a reason.
If you get some decent evidence for this thing, post it.

No no, dont take us wrong...I would be willing to bet that everyone responding actually WANTS to believe you!


The problem being, that forums here and others like them are SO littered with misinformation and disingenuous people, that it makes it near impossible to weed the truth from the lies...so the only way to DO that, is by erecting yourself accordingly via hardcore evidence. (Of course the alternative would be to get every ATS member to your friends place to see it happening for themselves, however, I suspect that if your mom or theirs would shoot you OR them for calling the cops, then inviting a large portion of the world from various corners to a house may well be what once again puts the gun back on the table lol)

Can you put up a drawing or a sketch of this thing that is messing with you and your friends? We don't even know what it looks like. All we have is some audio which may or may not have been tampered with, and a photo of...funny lights, and fake looking water. If we had a drawing, then we could make some assumptions.

The OP says that people are jumping on him without reading first. Well, I read the entire thread and I really find it to be fictitious at best. Your only support has come from other new members. One on pg 1 that also happens to be from GA and then your friend.

I usually try to stay neutral but I am just seeing some guys that watched the Mothman Prophecies, read up on some other similar paranorms and then decided to see what they could do with a story of their own.

For as many people that have seen this "8 ft creature" you'd think there would be one pic of it.

Also, why switch member ID's in the middle of your thread? Your old one is a new member ID also. Unless you are thinking you may be banned so you are keeping a backup ID.

Someone help me out here: If he were to get banned, can he log back in with the alternate ID. I would think if they come from 2 different IP's, one would stay in good standing, correct?

My apologies if the OP's story is true but unless we see something tangible soon I just can't believe it.

I too have been following this from the beginning and I am still keeping an open mind about it. I too wondered about a new member backing another new member's claim, but is it not conceivable that the second georgia member wanted to share his knowledge and decided to join to do so?

When the OP remembered his old member log in, he did so to prove he is not a 'new' member. If you note he joined in Aug. of last year.

I am going to give him some leeway pending more evidence. I admit I enjoy reading about the Mothman and this is close to that, so for entertainment I am open.

If this is real, I wish you luck & safety. In the beginning I wondered if maybe you entered into someone's private cash crop, and the owners were angry enough to harrass you a bit.

Hey, good story... but skepticism is paramount.

A few questions that may help with other possibilities.

Whats the populous of the town you live in? ( rough guess would be fine )

How far is the area you guys camped in from where you live?

How far is this spot from the nearest inhabitants? ( many people live in this area )

You mentioned the truck with the guys standing beside it, is this area easily accessible by vehicle or is more like a hiking area? Is is odd to see vehicles or other people in this area?

Is this spot near a main hwy or anything travelled regularly?

Any relevant insight to the above questions may help us understand a little more about what the possibilities could be.

I am not disputing his claim of having a previous membership. However, you will notice that both ID's have minimal usage.

Although I don't believe the story, I am by no means holding a pitchfork in one hand and a torch in the other. I just want to see something more tangible to convince me.

I have no affiliation with either of these people, but I cannot prove it. I have found this a very interesting story to say the least and I know the things I have witnessed my whole life in this area includes some pretty strange things. At the very least it drew me into discussion and joining ATS.

Sounds like you need DOGS & GUNS.
Maybe a Pit Bull or two.

Something that is not in short supply in this area. They mention Ware county which is about an hour west of me. My father has a house out there and at night it gets pretty dark. Not a place to be unprepared.

Maybe you could interject some of your experiences. I used to visit my friends in Marietta allot and never heard any stories outside of BF sightings.
