I'd like to know where everyone (all 77,758 of you) found ATS! Did your friends recommend it to you, did you just find it by search engine, or what? I'm so curious how all these people found the site.

Wow, that's funny - 1997 was the year the movie "Conspiracy Theory" came out, lol! That is actually the movie that prompted me to search the web, though it was likely a year or more after 1997 because I didn't see the movie in theatres (gotta love that line, "NASA is plotting to kill the President with an earthquake") and come across this site. Although at the time I just basically read through all the excellent content of the site that wasn't of the message-board variety (I don't even remember if there was a message board here when I first found this place.) This is, of course, my only active username, but I had another years ago which I forgot because I was a few years far from civilization and the internet

I found the site doing a search for the Comet fragments that were supposed to hit us in May! LOL...Have found alot more information on a lot more subjects than i ever thought I would though!!!

Looking for 9/11 information personally, ended up here somehow. Trolled for a bit, then decided to join.

I found an intriguing story about a guy named John Titor and my search for information about this guy led me to ATS. Just goes to show that people spouting pure BS can have a positive effect on the lives of others.

I came across this website trying to find info on Ufo's, this happed at about late 2004. I was just a lurker reading the discussions and I decided to join in early 2005.

I found this site on a freemasonry search. Researching about the group since I will one day join. (I must carry on the membership of my family)
