Why is Magic Johnson still alive?

Is Magic Johnson still married? We *KNOW* that condoms are only 83% effective in preventing HIV transmission (17% failure rate). Does his wife have it? If not, why not?

There is a doctor that claims that HIV is NOT what is causing AIDS, and that HIV may, in fact, be relatively harmless. It is an interesting hypothesis.

I have heard that the reason there is a "pandemic" of HIV infection in Africa is that EVERYTING is labeled HIV. Chronic Diarrhea? HIV. Losing weight? HIV (instead of malnutrition). What they have done in Africa is to expand the "symptoms" of HIV to include many of the basic health problems that have always existed in Africa. Chronic Diarrhea from contaminated water? Oh, that we could treat. Chronic Diarrhea from HIV? Can't really treat that, sorry about your luck. (We'll be sure to put those resources to good use when you are gone.)

Being rich is obviously a benefit if you have a killer disease or faulty parts that need replacing.

Regarding the original post. I'm sure his money helped get him the best treatments but luck and other factors are part of the issue too. My deceased sister-in law had full blown AIDS for over 20 years. She was far from rich and was on Medicaid. Health care is a commodity that money can get you the best of but even someone on the other end of the financial spectrum can survive long-term with HIV infection.

And that's one of the major problems with this disease.
Yes it kills you eventually, but while you carry the disease for many years the opportunity arises for it to be passed along and infect many others.

There are even cases where people know they have it and intentionally infect others.:shk:

The money was there for him to kick back for the rest of his life. All he wanted was that extra 15 minutes of fame so everyone wouldn't forget about him. It's just that plain and simple. again, more disinfo with HIV and AIDS

its usually only when your T count is down so low that you are diagnosed with AIDS

and on that downward spiral if your T count is unable to go back up will you start to show signs of diminishing, weight loss, etc just like other illnesses

alzhemiers for one, people are incredibly thin cause there bodies forget to eat

he looks healthy enough, I bet his T count is higher than alot of non-infected people

Im sorry but so not true

there are alot of programs out there to help people

she might have had a drug resistant virus that caused her to not get back to somewhat healthy living, Im sorry for your loss

alot of people are getting reinfected over and over again with others drug resistant virus and thus making it hard for the right meds to work

What about Paul Michael Glaser and his family? Elizabeth Glaser is a hero of mine, and her and her husband's fight for the children and AIDS research have helped a great deal in saving lives. Their children were born HIV + and Ariel died from AIDS when she was 7, but their son Jake is now 24 and healthy. Plus there are many other cases of people living with HIV for years and years before they get AIDS.

Alot of my friends were patients in that clinic and I still have alot of friends living with it.

are they secretly FDA approved and or is he a guinea pig?

if one of the first meds ever invented to treat HIV worked for him and has been keeping him healthy, there would be no reason clinically to give him other any and all the newest treatments

No, there is not a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE difference, AIDS is simply a set of afflictions caused by HIV in the later stages.

It's not like I don't care about the issue of HIV and AIDS, in fact one of my relatives has HIV. I was just voicing my opinion about why Johnson might not be affected as much as most people.

If I were Magic J then I'd do whatever it takes to stay alive. With all blood diseases, I'd get unlimited suply of class A positive blood transfusions. Making sure that all the donors are healthy, exercise daily

He showed Scientifically how the UN took a virus from a cow and a sheep and blended them together to make AIDS. Before they ever distributed it they made a cure for it. Which the governments have the cure for obvious reasons. The motive for the creation of it ? The UN was trying to solve the environmental issue of over population at the time they new at the rate we were going the population would double rather than take a communistic approach to it as China did they did something very underhanded. As History will show there was an obvious prejudice going on at the time and 2 groups were signaled out the blacks and the gays. The perfect opportunity took place in Haiti where an epidemic of Hep B was moving through the the gay community so they injected them with the vaccine and put the AIDS virus in it. According to Dr Strecker that's how it started. Now for the good news by 1993 doctors at UCLA began examining a boy who had been born with AIDS He was checked at birth checked 6 months later and again at one year, at which time he still had AIDS. He wasn't checked again until he was 5 . This time all traces of of the virus were gone! It was though he never contracted it. They didn't know how he became immune. They found the words, " THE END TO ALL DISEASES" So there quit trifling over old Magic Jonson for all we know he's giving his money away to doctors who will be out of a job one day very soon.

There is no AIDS virus and if this 'Pandemic' virus is true its breaks all laws of Viral identification/confirmation. Its also appears to be very selective in that it targets specific continents (the weak economic ones) .... Cool!

Apparently, to speed up identification and save some costs aid works can use visual signs that prove people (in these backward unimportant villages) have the so-called ‘virus’ and therefore their children must also have it thus = Aids epidemic in African countries (well the poorer ones anyway ;o) )

Oh and the convicted (has a tendency to falsify his results – perfect candidate for the ruse me thinks) so called finder of this ‘virus’ also just happens to own the patent for the tests for the ‘virus’. Brilliant! Sort of a way of paying someone for helping with the whole AID’s scam.
