Clearly you're a shill for big oil. After all, oil corporations are greedy evil capitalists. They've always been greedy! Which is exactly why they've chosen to be so greedy only now, after Biden shutdown the keystone pipeline and all of those oil leases in Alaska are suspiciously falling through.

And just after they decided to be generous during Trump just to hurt Democrats!

That's why they're greedy now, just like they were the last time prices were so high under Obama, because the oilmen wanted them to be!

Just ignore the other day when Biden told reporters in Japan that the high gas prices were a painful but necessary transition to green energy. Because they're only the fault of greedy oilmen, politicians have nothing to do with it.

Honestly I have no idea how people manage to hold all these conflicting views at once. How many times do politicians have to literally tell us that their goal is high gas prices to force people off fossil fuels before we literally just listen to what they're saying?

On 28 February 2022, Russian gas was (USD) $3.19 per gallon, while in the US it was $3.95 per gallon. On 6 June 2022, Russian gas was (USD) $3.181 per gallon, while in the US it was $5.038 per gallon. Out of everything wrong with this administration, this is the true indicator of how inept and/or corrupt they have become.

Well it costs 82% more to live in the US than to live in Russia, so that works out about as expected. It is about 13% cheaper (in the USA) after adjusting for per capita income and cost of living.

3.18 × .82 = 5.78. 5.03 ÷ 5.78 = 0.87 = 13% cheaper in the USA.

And don't feel bad Germany is still at 6.71 USD, 7.48 in Italy, and 5.79 in the UK...

We stayed more affordable than many countries. We could have done way better on the domestic production front, but it's not as bad as fuzzy logic works out to show it being.

As of today, the average price of gas in the US is $3.439. There's a slight possibility that left-wing extremists could blow up oil refineries in the US in order to help decrease the price of average gas to $2.096 because they rail against Big Oil for making huge profits from oil production.
