Buffalo Police Knock 75 Year Old Man Down

The officer knocks the man to the ground who immediately starts bleeding. The rest of the officers leave him there, pulling one officer who appeared concerned.

The police then reported that a man tripped and fell during the protests this evening.

Once the video got around the story was changed.

I'm also sure all those videos of "protesters" assaulting old folks didnt mean to do it.
And the innocent puppy killed? Totally an accident. Its all juts a misunderstanding in those cases.

The man is obviously old and frail.

A stiff wind could have knocked him down.

He should have never been there and officers should have even avoided brushing against him given his physical state.

I'm starting to think this all is darwin stuffing his cart at a super sale after having been in hiding for a decade. He's stocking up hard.

That old man had no business there. My moms 70...no way in hell am i letting her attend a protest.

The article says the guy walked up to them and they told him to go back. They nudge him back, then he stops then he gets edged back again, takes several steps backwards and falls. He basically stumbled, they did not knock him over. He then started bleeding from the ear, probably on blood thinners, and they keep going where they are heading.

Nobody knocked that man to the ground according to the article, he walked backwards after being poked back and fell down. Just because he is seventy does not mean he is a cripple, I know lots of seventy plus year olds that are in good shape, none that are stupid enough to be out there during a protest though.

The OP does not match what the article actually says in the content. The guy stumbled going backwards, there were other people around to help him, someone was taking the picture. Why would they leave one cop there if there was a chance there was someone there who would attack him, that kind of thing has been happening. The guy was not pushed over, represent things like they are, don't be acting like money hungry news reporters trying to sell a story.

There are enough bad things happening out there, find a legitimate one to bring here.

That man has the classic look of someone with leukemia.
Bent posture (weakness) , thinning hair , underweight...
Also , a mask was on when I see no one else with one.
If one is old and sick , stay home.
Don't go out putting yourself in the way of police officers in that sort of scenario that was going on.

It wasn't like they charged the old guy, but ya..not nice. The old guy, being that frail, not a good idea to be in it.

False reporting. The video shows clearly. He stumbled after a small shove.

Besides, when the riot gear is out and they are advancing it is very wise not to block them. It's plain foolish to touch them. Pushing him is well within their proper authority to do so in such scenarios. His age doesn't matter. Most 75-year-olds are not that foolish.

Also, they are trained to keep moving forward. That one cop had a difficult time not giving him aid which I think is a credit to those officer's humanity. He had to keep advancing. They had men from the national guard who immediately began tending to the old man as soon as the police advanced enough.

Everyone has a specific job. The old man wasn't simply left to bleed on the ground.

This reporting is complete garbage.

How the hell are you attempting to justify 2 cops pushing an old man?
They could have EASILY escorted him to where they wanted him to go.
The 2 dip#s are suspended, imo rightfully so.
