I watched this and the way the cop kept his knee on the suspect long enough to kill him was ridiculous. I see no evidence to support the cop's actions here. Not after the guy was detained. This is the crap that gives other police a bad name.

Yeah no doubt about that LSU, breaks my heart to watch this

No matter what the guy did he didnt deserve that, dear god just get them under control and take care of business. by the book. Like someone else pointed out I guarantee this wasn't part of their SOPs and this guy was never trained or authorized to use this in place of established pain compliance techniques with really any less lethal tool OC, electronic stun device, that sort of thing

You say no matter what this guy didn’t deserve it, well, let’s not go that far, some do deserve it, sorry

Some deserve to be publicly executed without trial or following the law?? WOW... So.. forgery or whatever requires a death sentence? Or only non whites require that form of punishment?? Thats justice to you?

I love my country and its a country of laws. As a patriot I recognize the law. This "cop" did NOT recognize the law that he has sworn to uphold. You must buy into the all citizens are potential criminals mindset.

This is horrifying! I hope those douche bag police officers die a most horrible death! It doesn't matter what happened before the video started; they had him subdued and the neck crushing cop went way overboard. Even school shooter Nikolas Cruz wasn't treated this way when apprehended. These cops give all a bad name. Grrrrr

What a load of S# that is. That's the mentality of a gang member not someone engaging in critical thinking. We hsve things in this country that are fundamental aspects of the constitution. Jave you read the 4th amendment?Things like due process supersede mob justice and street lynchings. Nobody deserves to die over neing accised of possessing a forged instrument amd nobody should be put to death without the consent of 12 jurors. Its thst simple.

Just plain murder. Knee cop needs to go to prison for the rest of his life and the others need to be prosecuted, jailed, and never allowed to be cops or prison guards ever.

I truly believed this sort of thing just didn't happen. Never in my life have I seen something go down like this

Imagine if it wasn't on camera. I believe there would be no story, case closed.

What I'd like to know is why their names still aren't being released? They have the victim's entire life story posted within hours when this sort of thing happens but the names of the cops involved are protected.

I'd like their public files and complaints released too since they are public servants and those records are public record any other time in most cases.

I don't know about there, but here, a suspect cannot be named till there are charges..so lets hope there are charges..soon!!

In the US we have FOIA which allows for release of all public records (record paid for with taxpayer money) so anyone can walk in and request arrest records or even 911 calls etc....

The prob starts when police lock the names and claim it is "personnel files" or locked because itnis an "active investigation" but turn right around and release everything they have on the victim. They have already told the press he was intoxicated, suspected of forgery and resisted arrest.

The double standards are astounding in these cases and usually unconstitutional.

The lawyer for one of the cops has just named his client as Derek Chauvin. He was supposedly the one with the knee on Floyd's neck.

WHEN exactly did this murder take place?

If it was not within the past week or so, WHY are we just now seeing the video?

(I was unable to pull up the Fox News story link in the OP)

Remember with the jogger in GA, it was a Feb event and the video came out in April?

What I'm digging at here is THIS....

Are these horrific events being released to the public on a specific timeline in order to service a psychological service? Psyop?

I hope I'm wrong

Let me go back and find the link but all 4 officers are now unemployed. Hopefully an indictment will soon follow.

My guess is if you couldnt pull up the article the OP used then you didn't do any other research on it?

For example here is a CNN article talking about how the COPS involved in this were fired with a relevant quote talking about the timeline.

The article literally says " Officers responding to an alleged forgery in progress Monday evening were initially told that a person later described as the suspect was sitting on a car and appeared to be under the influence, police said."
